After much deliberation I’ve decided to stick with my PM. Using it to watch videos and play games is too nice on the larger screen

Not sure if it's going to help much, but I always went with the Plus or Max, until last year and got the normal Pro. Gone back to the Max this year, missed the extra screen size for games and media consumption.
I just got a call saying mine were still linked to Find My, I was convinced I had removed them. They are now.
Me and the CEX chap double checked they were unpaired and not showing in Find My.
Taking no chances. Paid the cash straight into the bank!

My wife lost her AirPods but not the case. Which has just been sitting there collecting dust. Might just pop on down to get rid of it. I might even just do a CEX voucher and treat myself to a Switch game since they never go down in price 👀

Thanks! Yes this helps, and apple atm we can’t have it all. It’s heavy but beast for all other functions or smaller but less screen so let’s hope iPhone 15’s redesign will accommodate this with maybe an in between size or something!
Also what helps is seeing that more and more people these days has a larger device so I don’t feel odd.
I love using my phone for media especially when I’m at home or on the bus so I think this is the right choice for me… as @Jinjin says and if not then oh well there’s 11/12 months time! 😅

For the people buying the watch Ultra, may I ask if you are hardcore sports people? I got the standard watch 8 because the features on the Ultra seemed targeted at quite a small audience (deep sea diving etc etc). What made you decide on ultra compared to the normal 8 ?

I've been away for the past couple of weeks so asked for my 14 Pro to be delivered to a DPD pickup point. Picked it up today and opened up the iPhone box to find the phone had been stolen in transit.
Apple have told me I have to file a police report and send pictures, which I have done, but it could take 7-10 business days to be resolved which is a bit disappointing as I'll have to wait at least that long to get my new phone.
