I'm looking to be in the market for a new MacBook in the near future. However one thing that worries me about the MBA is the lack of ProMotion. Is this something that bothers you, coming from the MBP? I had a play with them in the Apple store and, once I'd noticed it, I couldn't help but feel the Air looked slightly 'laggy'...MacBook Air M2 - Midnight
This may not be relevant but thought I’d add to my 2022 summary! Grabbed this from Currys earlier this week as they had the 512GB model on sale vs Apple RRP. This is a secondary laptop in addition to my M1 Max 16” and mainly for travel / work ( when outside the house!).
What a machine and honestly the midnight colour is an absolute beauty( wish the MBP 16 came in the same). Such a nice portable size and speedy across most apps. Would highly recommend!

I saw it and thought similar, going on about how they now come with XS tips she can now use the Pros and not her first gen AirPods anymore and I was just thinking she could have bought some 3rd party XS tips and used the first gen Pros.

Yes mate, mine came today. Cost me £11 with a £4 off voucher on Amazon. Popped on the screen protector and case feels good. I usually go case loss so would say it will be off and on quite a bit. Bargain at the priceAnyone rocking the LK case?
I really like it. Feels like the right blend of slim/protection and is nothing like as slippery as the Torras.

Ha no clue here for the watch. Never had a cellular watch as always have phone with me!!!
That was also a concern for me but honestly hasn’t bothered me at all, I am currently using them side by side using AirPlay extended display and it’s all good as the screen is very good on the new MBA. It’s not pro motion with silky smooth scrolling but not noticeable either on a 13.6” screen given the overall quality of the display. Plus for literally half the price tag of my M1 Max it’s a great device!
Not sure they will introduce pro motion on a MBA anytime soon as it will effect sales on the 14MBP.
Lastly I do love pro motion on the MBP and IPhones but also have the latest iPad mini which dosent have it and due to the screen quality + brightness have no issues using that daily too.
Hope that helps but if you do buy a MBA go for the 512gb version as the 256gb has a relatively slow hard drive!!

Mine never came with a lanyard. Came with a key ring hook. Sent it back as didn’t really like it.
Interesting iClarified have said Apple released new firmware for them however the version on mine is actually higher!!
