Mine literally said the same thing. I don’t remember or see any scratch at all. I bet it’s all protocol that they have to say that to not pay out A grade. Also the A grade apparently was £104 even though the website said £109? All very questionable

I don’t use CEX much. I did notice the price varies depending on the case. I have the wireless case and the website stated £107. The funny thing is the newer MagSafe case is lower at £104. Both A grade.

Sorry £189

Apple AirPods Pro (1. generation) with MagSafe charging case (2021) https://amzn.eu/d/a6KzWvI

This is the same price I saw them in Apple Store in Manchester last Wednesday.
I see. Thanks for the heads up. I mean like I said I have to put higher prices to start with because people literally take the mick

It looks like CEX sell them for £140. If i was buying I’d just go to Amazon and spend the extra for brand new.

If they’re only 12 months from new, apples 1 year warranty should cover it

I did check the Apple support app and it looks like they’re only covered if the battery only charges up to 80%. My headphones and case do charge more then that but the case never gets up to 100%.

That said I do use an extra silicone case so I’ve taken that off and I’m testing the charging with out that to see if there is still a problem. I’m not sure if Apple will provide any support and even if they did it may be to just replace the battery as opposed to replacing the AirPods.

Can’t say I’ve looked at the fine print for AirPods.

There’s no way to see battery health equivalent on the AirPods? I can’t recall.

I had assumed (probably wrongly) that both case and AirPods should always charge to 100% and it would just be the degradation on battery condition which would lessen the amount t of charge it held? But if you can’t see battery health, how do they know!

So what we all using for charging our many devices??

Was eying up the belkin 3 in 1 but it’s £120 and I’m not sure what the effect of constant wireless charging would be
I purchased this one about a week or so ago.

Firstly be aware the the ones currently on sale for £120 are the older version. The newer £140 version will provide fast charging to watch S7 and above that the one on sale won't do.

Secondly, I created an account at the Belkin website, put the charger in my basket then left the site. 48 hrs later I got an email with 25% off my first order bringing it to £104.99.

Don’t get me wrong. Absolutely go for what your after.
Mine defo had seen better days so was happy with it.
Oh yeah of course I getcha, mine were replaced by apple literally a few months ago with about a handful times of me using them after that so quite different. They had that dreaded problem with them so we’re swapped out with the replacement program

Thanks for this! Didn’t realise about the faster watch charging!

Have made an account and added it. Hopefully they’ll add a code for me

Last year one of the cases I purchased for my 13 PM was the Apple clear case.

I was just wondering is version for the 14 PM still as slippy as last years version and are the buttons easier to press?
Just the same I'm afraid. John Lewis have them on offer cheaper than Apple if you go for one.

Got my Space Black Pro earlier today from Amazon. iOS updated first then transferred my 13 Pro to it and paired with Apple Watch Series 8. No issues so far.

First impressions are OK but haven’t even had to interact with Dynamic Island apart from the FaceID animations.

Let’s see how things go the next few days.

Indeed! And even then it’s hard because they seemed to have changed it where you can’t even reserve it unless you’re in store on the day and get it on the day :S the only way you can reserve is if it’s more than 1 available in store
Interesting. Don’t apple do simple exchanges anymore?

Meaning, I remember years ago when i pre ordered the iPhone 5 at launch in black, then a lot of complaints came out that the chamfered edges were easy to chip/scratch, so still within the return period, i called Apple Store and arranged an exchange for the silver. They then proceeded to send me a new phone and all i had to do was return the black one. I thought apple kept surplus stock for reasons like this.
