must be something going on with these single random phones tuning up in the middle of the day... I can't imagine its because they've just had a delivery of 1 in...

had to be a cancelled one un opened return maybe
In my experience of doing this during the day (same day I went to the Apple Store I came back and started looking lol) the random ones in the middle of the day were like hoaxes- could never actually reserve them) but who knows maybe someone actually beat me to it in 10 seconds 😂

Anyone found any nice black silicone or leather cases for Second Gen AirPods Pro? Seems to be a graveyard out there in my experience looking for them!!

I disagree.

Without AC+, Apple will absolutely replace/refund/repair, as is the law, but they are offering a premium service with AC+, for a premium additional
price.

What is the ‘premium service’ in this situation though? A faulty preordered iPhone needs to be replaced regardless of AC+ so just trying to understand how this insurance policy makes this situation easier? I had a faulty Apple Watch in 2020 with no AC+ and Apple picked it up and sent out a replacement within 5 days.

its only presenting back what the underlying API call shows.. Apple.com just restrict the UI to not display.

in previous years I might have been tempted to knock up a quick app again to check and send me a push notification when the make turned up in a store I wanted... but tbh... I can't be bothered anymore :D

my hunt for a pro max is just prolonging my time here... got the phone, AirPods and watch now... just clutching on for the lolz
I may have built an afternoon project in the form of a hosted Laravel app that checks every minute for specific models at specific stores and sends a push notification using Pushover if anything is available at the time of checking. If you'd be interested in trying it out (or anyone else, for that matter), send me a PM!

the amount of hands on the I get nowadays is severely limited... its all powerpoint and excel :(

if you got your project on GitHub, always keen to have a peek!

I was messing around with Azure serverless functions last year and getting something working for my apple orders gave me the motivation to do some homework :D

not seen pushover before, I just set it up as a telegram bot and pushed messages to it.

May have just opened the Airpods for a wee play and really impressed with the sound and comfort. So glad these are my first pair ever 🍒😂

They didn't seem to like the new Muse album as disconnected initially but I popped on charge for 15 mins and now fine.
