Oddly, the frosted Peel case arrived first despite being dispatched second. The clear case will arrive in the next couple of days, I guess once it clears customs.

To the poster that asked regarding weight, it adds a couple grams to the overall weight.

So nice having the thin case back. Really helps keep the Max size manageable.

That looks really good. Did you end up having to pay duty on it? If so, how much (if you don’t mind me asking)?

No duty paid at all. And in all the years I've been buying Peel cases (since the XS Max), I've not once been picked up for duty to be paid.

Sod's law I'll get stung on the pending clear case, right? 🤦‍♂️

Peel often does decent Black Friday deals - buy one get one half price or even free I've taken advantage of before.

One thing to be mindful of is the case, despite being so thin, does lessen the MagSafe strength ever so slightly. Weak magnetic connections like the wallet become a touch weaker. The MagSafe battery pack is fine due to the rubberised backing.

My delivery is showing up in the tracking now but showing as expected delivery for Tuesday, was expecting Monday as it's been picked up today

I’d hope to think it would switch back to Monday once it starts moving through their network

Yep.

The frosted adds a bit of texture for grip.

The clear is surprisingly grippy and doesn't get greasy.

So we had a broadband outage as soon as I got back from my visit to Apple. Was doing a recover from iCloud and the apps wouldn’t download over cellular!

Kids kicked off as it’s their internet day and robolox (sic) and FIFA were interrupted.

Given all the switching phones, I also wonder if people ever feel ‘guilty’ for doing so or do you just feel it’s part of your consumer rights? Every open box phone return will ultimately cost apple money as they can’t sell it straight away as new again. Sure it’s not like apple are short of money but I expect we all end up paying for all the returns in the end through how high the prices are

I don’t routinely do it but I do feel a tiny bit guilty.

It’s just a bit wasteful however the money the apple stuff costs like in my case being able to check out the ultra is awesome

I did and I didn't get a tracking number to track the phone back to Rebuy.
All went well though, as it arrived the next day and payment was in my bank around 24hrs after collection of the phone.
I'll be looking at using them again next year when I trade the 14Pro as the process was so easy.

Same here…feels an age after being caught out by their gremlins when preorders opened…. trying to complete the pre-credit checked order only for it to keep throwing me out and watching the delivery dates creep up..🤬

I don’t feel the least bit guilty returning the odd item to Apple and you shouldn’t either.

Many of us here are loyal Apple fans who spend a small fortune on their products. In my case I spend thousands every year and I have done so for the last 15 years.

Remember, they have become a trillion dollar global corporation thanks to customers like us. They want your money, not your sympathy.
