My Silver 14 Pro was delivered this afternoon, first impressions are that I am delighted.
Trick with the screen protectors is to hold them upside down above the phone and then remove the thin covering, and then lower it down on top of the phone, inside the applicator - holding the protector upside down stops any dust particles from landing on it!

just did the same, they received payment from apple on the same day I refunded my phone (30th Sept) and account closed.
Same. Not sure what came over me wanting to downsize initially. Battery life and screen are incredible.
If you have a Mac then https://worthbak.github.io/inventory-checker-app/
otherwise its the IUP pages on apple.com or their app: https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/iphone/iphone-upgrade-program - this would let you reserve available stock* as IUP (so no money down when reserved). you can then change your payment method to what ever you want when in store.
other option is the standard apple ordering pages on apple.com or app.
* with the IUP pages, you will need to refresh the page on the website for it to show updates. if you look at IUP via the apple store app, just by clicking around and chaining colour/model etc, it will refresh and show stock.

Oh just to mention there appears to be a limit on how many iUP reservations you can do even if you have cancelled them.
This also looks to be irrelevant of the entered details for collection. It’s linked to the logged in Apple ID.
