Best of luck with that. You might strike lucky with the sales assistant but Apple don’t normally allow early pick ups.

You have no chance. You won’t even get past the check in person at front of store.
I went at 15.55 for a 16.00 appointment and told to wait outside for 5 minutes. The store was empty.
No more Apple purchases this year. Mentioned I had £1000 WFH allowance to use up from work (Use it or lose it) and was thinking I would put it towards a new Mac (that I don't need as I have a 2021 MacBook Air M1 and a 2020 Mac mini intel i7 and 64GB RAM), but caved in and bought a Samsung 49" monitor with £800 of it. Not a lot mac wise I can get for £200 (it has to be a PC/Mac /WFH equipment so no iPads etc).
So I am done for 2022. Honest.

Probably find the reservations system won’t allow anything to be handed over until the appointment time.
Common sense would say 5 minutes before is fine, the computer probably says “no”

I’m in the US, but mine also is still saying preparing to ship. IDK if this is going to be a super fast trip from China or if Apple has already shipped the phones to our respective countries in advance. If it’s the latter, maybe that’s why we haven’t seen tracking info yet. Presumably, shipping the phones to us from warehouses within our respective countries will be fairly quick.
No. Lots of places no longer accept cash - ever since covid etc.
I can't remember Apple ever taking cash TBH - I usually order BTO online but every time Ive been for accessories etc its always Apple Pay or card only.

They are sat in a warehouse a couple hours from me so maybe apple waits till the last minute to ship them on an overnight service.
That would make sense. I don’t know where the closest Apple warehouse is to me.
hopefully gets pulled from next beta or added as an accessibility option instead or something!
