I like the Spigen MagSafe cases (Ultra Hybrid Magfit). They’re a bit chunky but I feel they do provide good protection. They’re also clear.

The iPhone 12 Pro finally convinced me to upgrade from my iPhone 8. My first iPhone without a home button... took a while to get used to that, but it's second nature these days and far more intuitive on reflection.

I wish the official Apple MagSafe wallets weren’t so expensive. If they were around £35-£40 I’d be tempted but £59 is too much and in my opinion. I’d go for one of the cheaper reputable third party brands but they don’t offer Find My.
 
Have had the 14 pro for a week now. Defo feels like a significant upgrade over the 12 in more ways than one and have adjusted to the weight difference at this point. I’m most impressed with how cool this phone stays even when playing very graphically intensive games, my 12 would burn to the touch after a few minutes browsing reddit. Hope they do more with dynamic island in the future because it’s a cool feature but feels under utilised.

Anybody found the proximity sensor is a bit iffy? I managed to put my Mum on mute earlier while on a call. Not done that since the iPhone 4

*edit* reset all settings, seems better. Now to re-add my bank cards and Face ID

I have checked John Lewis but they only sell the Umber and Forest Green. I prefer the Ink as I have a Deep Purple iPhone. That said the Umber does go well with the Deep Purple too. I actually use a clear case so you can see the whole back of the phone. I might consider the Umber if I see it discounted.

I got a slim wallet from Kickstarter with an AirTag slot, before the Apple Wallet supported Find My.

It has my driving licence, my Amex card and my First Direct card in and lives somewhere in the centre console of my car, as I never take it anywhere with me. 🙄

I‘m Apple Pay all the way (phone only now as I swapped my Apple Watch for a Withings Scanwatch Horizon).

For those of you waiting, I notice most have ordered online and are waiting. Has anyone been lucky enough to be able to pick up in store on the day or the next day? Any tips of whether there's a good time to do this to look for stock?

I notice it's harder this year than last to do this, am I correct?
