I understand that forum etiquette demands that I read the 200 pages I've missed, but just on the off-chance that anyone knows where a 14 Pro Max can be picked up these days I thought I'd just ask.

My niece (ignoring my dire warnings) bought a Samsung flippo flex whatsit, and now for the second time in a year the part of the screen that folds is beginning to disintegrate. She wants to return to the beautiful walled garden now, but can't find a 14 Pro Max online for love nor money.

I see that rain111 mentioned chancing it at Westfield or Regent street; we had also noticed that O2 out of all the carriers seems to have some in stock; any other incredible MacRumours tips?

I'll be honest, you'll be extremely lucky to find any iPhone to buy, you will have to check every possible Apple store you can and ask if they have stock or not, and if there is, they'll be gone so quickly like a flash. If you read one of my posts about my visit to the Regent Street Apple store, I and my mate were there to try his luck in grabbing one, he went to one side and I went to another, and the result speaks volumes, he managed to get one, and I was told there is no stock in the same store just different employees dealing with.

Please note I speak only about buying outright from Apple directly ( I never buy my phones from carriers ), so I can't help you there mate.

You just have to try your luck, right now is a cat and mouse game, could walk out with a phone or not (in most cases not)!

To be honest your best bet would be to send letter to Santa.

Just ordered another iPhone got it on 0% via barclays. It was referred and then a minute later got approval email. This happened yesterday. Apple status showing on hold. Do you know when / how long it takes to update?

Westfield WC London has stock for both Pro and Pro Max for today's pickup on Black 256GB/512GB/1TB, if anyone is interested, do it now.

So have caved in, Very had a deep purple 256GB PM on 12 month bnpl so i've snagged it. Gonna sell this 14 pro and put the money I get from it towards the pro Max. The battery just isn't cutting it for me at all! The pro Max should be with me by January the 17th. I love the size of the Pro because I have small hands, but the battery is just an issue for me!

I’m on the exact same boat as well. Having gone Pro Max for 4 years, I thought I’d go for 14 Pro back in October because it was more readily available. Loving the size but the battery life just isn’t cutting it (and I wouldn’t call myself a ‘power user’ at all).

my 14 pro should arrive tomorrow ordered from Vodafone as for some reason my o2 order was declined for whatever reason.

I just hope I get a dispatch notice today as it says delivery for tomorrow.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I placed the order (all fine) did the follow up mug shot and pic of driving licence email and then got a follow up email to say "approved".

My order was on hold for about 4 days. I chased Apple and they said all fine their end and they are waiting on Barclays. I chased Barclays and after a few calls they said they had tech issues over the weekend and that the loan approval has not been sent to Apple. I called back the following day to chase again and the chap from Barclays was going to hit the magic button and push it through manually only to discover that Apple had cancelled the order whilst I was on the phone to him.

Long story short... I had to re-apply and was concerned another application in such a short space of time might get declined. They also put a request through for the hard credit search to be removed. It went through ok in the end and the new order status changed from on hold to processing, preparing for dispatch etc. within a few hours and was all done and dusted within a day.

Hi everyone, been a while since i last posted but I'm thrilled this thread is still relatively active!

I need some advice. My sister is getting a 14 Plus for Christmas and I'm helping her set it up on Boxing Day, I'll also be giving her my old Apple Watch series 6. She currently has an 11 Pro Max and a cellular Series 4 on O2.

Is there anything I need to bare in mind doing wired data transfer? more particularly in respect of the watch and whether an O2 plan moves straight over. Should I unpair it from her existing phone first, or allow the data transfer to move it over along with the phone data?

This is quite possibly a silly question... but this is coming from someone on EE who KNOWS that transferring a watch plan to a new watch and phone is an almighty faff! 🤣 - I'm hoping O2 is smoother... 🤞

Don’t do anything with her old phone until you’ve transferred everything to the new one. It’s all pretty straightforward - just takes a while. Make sure you take an iCloud backup of the old phone shortly before setting up the new one. I would rename the new phone early on the save confusion.
