Currently opted for O2 since it gets me their Wi-Fi on the underground and hotspots elsewhere. Vodafone doesn’t offer this right ?

If you're a Virgin Media, EE, O2 or Three customer you can use the Wi-Fi service for free as part of your plan.

Anyone know if apple are planning to release a spring refresh of new Apple silicone cases etc. for the 14 pro? Think they did it mid February last year. Itching to get some more cases!

No new leather ones, the yellow silicone one looks good!

Does the iPhone 14 Pro Max have better mobile network performance due to a newer 5G modem? That and battery life are really the two things I care most about in a phone.

The 5G signal for me on Three is very strong and the battery lasts bloody ages for me as well. But, I'm not a power user... I do check emails a lot though and use it to watch YT videos, Insta videos a lot as well, but no gaming etc

I see. Thank you. I guess at this stage; I might wait for the 15 Pro Max.

Probably a good idea; I only went for the 14 Pro Max as I sold my 13 PM and went back to Android and a Google Pixel 7 Pro and regretted it within 2 weeks haha...

If the 15 PM comes with USB C I'll seriously consider it; but if not then happy to stick with the 14PM

I buy my phones outright; so I usually do well when it comes to selling the phone to move to the next etc

Did anyone get their iPhone on contract from EE?
Monthly price plans are going up by a staggering 14% from the end of this month.

I got a really good monthly discount with my iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb but now I am going to try and return it. It's an absolute joke how much they are charging customers!

This is why I will not take a contract out ever again; last one was via my Ltd company and even then I felt I was getting ripped off...

My brothers just bought the 14 PM via Amazon and they have it on 5 monthly payments; 0%

Gives him breathing space to sell his 13 Pro when the next £1 / 80% off listing comes live etc

Unless you got it in the last 14 days you can forget returning it or cancelling the contract, the increase is specified in the contract and on the bottom of virtually every page on the EE website.

Yep!
I made a massive mistake...
I was very silly, or I could have got the iPhone with Barclays Partner Finance at 0%.

EE are charging me £76 a month (before the price increase) for the 256GB 14PM but I also get Apple Music which I normally pay £10 for and unlimited everything so I thought it was a good deal considering I was paying £20 a month for a Sim Only deal with EE before I took out the phone contract.

Yep! I completely forget about the yearly price increases. I was silly.

Better to go with the Apple 0% for two years (you can pay it off early) and do SIM only so any contract increase is only on the tariff. At least O2 separate the two costs out so their increase doesn't apply to the phone portion.

I jumped from EE this time last year due to the increase (I was out of contract), I decided I don't want to give money to any network that thinks it's ok to ramp up prices mid contract.

1p Mobile has exactly the same service and none of the bs putting up prices just because they can.

I made a big mistake. I am just hoping I am in time and can cancel!

Oh so you were stuck on a contract like me?

No, I had been on a much older contract and was out of minimum term.

I got my PAC, told them why when they called to try and do a retention deal and left. I'd been with EE since 1996 (the one2one days).

Oh wow.
These companies don't deserve out loyalty!

Decided to pop my head in here and say hi.
I’ve not been around one of these threads since the 12 pre-launch and the anticipation of launch day for my graphite 12 pro.
However, this was in dire need of a battery replacement as I was charging it overnight and having to hook it up multiple times a day.
So on Monday I replaced it with a silver 14 Pro Max, since rumours were heavily pointing to this being the greatest phone with a lightning port that we’ll ever see. Plus my new job says I can’t take an iPad, so the larger phone screen is taking its place.

So far I’m enjoying it. As a tall guy with massive hands anyway, the screen doesn’t feel crazy large but gives me a nice bit of extra space that makes sure I don’t miss my iPad too much during breaks.

Yup mine is going up by almost £4 😐, linked to flipping inflation they claimed !
