What model are you getting?

Just ordered an express replacement for my phone. Getting 4 hours screen time per charge is awful. Reminds me of an old nexus I had!

Weird thing was the advisor said he couldn’t see anything wrong with it.

AppleCare plus is worth its weight in gold.

You’re getting a free replacement under Apple Care because of poor battery life, with battery health still ok?

How much do you pay for the Apple Care Plus?

What, do Apple not replace for the above reason?

As far as I’m aware, and I might be wrong, but they’ll only replace a battery/handset for underperforming battery if battery health is below 80%.
I know you can get the whole phone replaced under Apple Care, but there’s a fee involved.

Don't they take a holding fee and then give you the money back once you send the faulty phone to then?

They take a holding fee of the value of the whole phone until you return the faulty one. But then there’s an extra fee. At the moment, I believe £79 for an iPhone 14 Pro Express Replacement.

Unfortunately my 14PM was stolen from me :(

My insurance company offered to replace it with a Samsung S22 ultra... I kindly declined so now I'm rocking a 14 Plus 256gb in Blue :)

So after just over 2 months of using the 14 Plus I'm back on a 14 Pro Max.

Loved the plus but really missed the premium feeling of the PM plus promotion. I managed to get £510 from musicmagpie for the plus but had to put the extra £799 towards getting the 256gb model. I went for space black this time which I love.

I have just gotten the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256gb on contract from EE.
Do you guys recommend Apple Care Plus Theft and Loss (I think the theft and loss insurance is with AIG, whilst breakdowns are directly with Apple), or mobile insurance with a bank like Nationwide/Natwest.
Has anyone had experience with any mobile phone insurance providers. I know sometimes it can be difficult to make claims etc...

The iPhone is so expensive that I want to take insurance this time since I will be having the phone for 3 years at least and I can't easily just fork out £1k+ for a new iPhone if I were to lose it..
