Music Magpie just for their SMARTDrop Kiosks inside Asda
Used them twice now, always gets marked down quite a lot but feel like the original quoted price online was inflated anyway.

No upgrade for me this year, put off indefinitely until prices sort themselves out.

Ah that sucks. I'e only used it once - last year - and it was perfect. I guess it's still a human on the other end so still the luck of the draw...

I tried it several times but it just kept giving me reduced prices for “cosmetic condition” or something. Both phones were mint condition like all my stuff usually stays. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know this is off topic but what email client do you guys use?
I am looking for a good, reliable email client with a good search function. I normally use Spark but Spark isn't good for searching for old emails. I also don't like what they have to the app after the recent updates.

Picked up an IPhone 14 Pro 128GB Purple from envirofone.com in “pristine” condition.

And it was. Can’t distinguish from BNIB. 100% battery health and at £859 a pretty solid bargain.

Wife now rocking my 13 pro, and her battered SE20 heading for fleabay.

Spigen EZ fit screen protector, which I can’t even tell is there. Loving the “new” phone feeling.

I’ve just stuck with Mail but my wife uses Outlook. Quite mainstream but I can’t stand the idea of trusting a smaller third party company with my email log-ins. I downloaded spark and got spooked by the whole permissions and storing credentials etc.

For anyone who purchased the 14 Pro Max on launch day. How is your battery health?
Just checked and my phone is 91%. I am a bit surprised at this as it’s not a year old yet.
95% 😮. And I take (somewhat) care to maintain a 20-80% charge rate. I’ve been wondering why the battery has been lasting as long… now I know. Pretty sure my 13PM was on 97% in September 2022.

I think mine was on 95% around 4 weeks ago. I'm not sure what happened, although I am not really bothered as I upgrade every year. Just seems to be this time has been the biggest drop in battery health I have noticed.

Same

If I kept it for 2-3 years I may be worried. I charge via MagSafe each night wirelessly dunno if that matters or not

14PM since October, charging only on 5w charger, was 100% until I installed iOS 17 beta a couple weeks ago, upon which it dropped to 99%. And then I did a hard reboot a few days later upon which it dropped to 98%.

Sounds like a dodgy battery. I heavily use my 14 pro, which has nowhere near the battery size of the pro max, and i’m at 97%.

Anyone had any issues with MM lately a mate as just bought a normal 12 for his lad. set it up and it flagged up it’s got a non Apple screen fitted. Surely that’s not right to not even mention it when buying from them
