What model are you getting?

So I am guessing the pro max you prefer?
The pro max is perfect apart from the size imo
it is uncomfortable to hold/
I’ve had the Pro Max two years running now and have to say you do not get used to the size lol. You get used to (and love!) the screen real estate, especially when compared to the Pro.

But the size and ‘uncomfortableness’ to hold stays with you. I don’t even use a case and I find it a tad awkward - using a MagSafe wallet helps with the grip though!

See, I'm a bit different now. I've got used to the extra size and weight over my 12 Pro. I have it in a Spigen case

Slightly off topic, but who's looking forward to the WWDC keynote this evening? I'm genuinely excited to see this much-rumoured VR/AR headset. As a web developer, I'm just hoping it has Safari so I can justify it as a business expense to test websites on 👀

I have no interest in anything VR to be honest..... I'm sure Apple will pull off something special though.
More interested to see what the iPhone 15 PM brings towards the end of the year though. Still happy with my 13 PM, but could be tempted this year.... ;)

Same here. I'll be getting the 15PM likely as an upgrade to my 13PM.

TBH I'm still happy with my 13 Pro Max - however, my family line beneath me could do with upgrades, so I tend to buy the new one and the older ones get passed down the chain! So my wife will have my 13PM, my daughter will get my wife's current 12pro etc - I have a chain of 4 to pass down and set up! lol

iPhone 14 with a usb-c port limited to usb 2.0 speeds, knowing Apple. If we’re lucky, they’ll bump the processor slightly and chuck £100 onto the price for good measure.

I am sooooo cynical 🙄

I was all set on the 15 Pro Max for more screen but now we know the 16 Pro line up will finally get a display increase so I'm going to hold off the max for another year and get the 15 pro.

Next year we should see 6.3" and 6.9" and my Pixel 7 is 6.3" and the display is the perfect size for me so ill get the 16 pro and won't have to touch the max.

I just pray we don't get ANOTHER price increase in the UK.

Similar position to me - considering giving the bigger screen a go for the first time…
Might try the 15 Pro Max this year, see how I get on with the size, and next year if screen sizes do increase, and the standard Pro 16 also gets the periscope lens, maybe downsize again

I 100% disagree.
to be fair my biggest issue is the pinky at the bottom. Long usage with the phone resting on my pinky is eurgh. I have tried to hold it differently but that just doesn't feel right! Don't get me wrong though - I will never go back to the Pro size. I'm a Pro Max user from here on out. I can deal with the size discomfort for the screen real estate and battery life!

Whoever is saying No or Maybe will defo be upgrading. Happens every year.

Mark my words.
No. I can resist, as I have a 13 Mini which I'll keep until they stop updating iOS. I might even buy a second-hand one as a spare phone/iPod replacement (currently using a 2016 SE for that).

The price is beyond the joke for a first generation product that will no doubt be riddled with issues.
That is my EV deposit every three years.

Knowing me I wouldn’t resist upgrading every 12 months if they made hardware changes in Gen 2, 3 and onwards.

From $3499!

Then add the extra batteries, corrective lenses( for those who need them), additional straps and the all important carry case and you can add a grand more all in I say!

And also Apple reality cloth pro! There’s nothing in the box, you just gesture to wipe the screen!

Sorry it’s off topic guys but I need some advise and I didn’t get any response on my thread…
I’m looking to upgrade my old MacBook Pro and wondering is the base model of the 14” MacBook Pro M2 2023 enough power to say run games like sims 4 with expansions etc?
Thanks!

MacBook Air M2 15”!!!
