Ofcom need to get their act together and ban inflation/CPI yearly price increases contract is a contract end of you pay what you signed up for.

ASA need to step in Vodafone unlimited now capped at 600gb a month someone mentioned this in ispreview forums EE has a monthly limit of 650gb these companies are taking the p**s now.

Thanks. Have just realised though, there's no way of restoring from a back up unless you reset the phone first right? Meaning the iOS Beta I download will also be removed?
Once iOS 17 is installed on your iPhone 11, erase all contents and settings still keeps iOS 17 installed meaning you can then restore from your iCloud backup of your 13 Pro

What if I remove the beta from my profile before backing up?

Or alternatively, if I just download the ios17 beta on my 11 and then restore the backup from my current phone?

No offence but should really be running betas if you’re not sure how to manage devices with them on?

Yes. Restore will be an issue.

You can always change ios version in info list and restore using pc or macbook.

Unless above method was closed by Apple in iOS17.

I think this is closed now. I couldn’t restore an iPad I put to iPad 17 back to iPad16 without a real ios16 backup.

I wasn’t too bothered as it’s not a main driver.

Really. Had no idea there was a fair usage cap. I assume this is on mobile and not broadband.

Well now the real countdown starts in a month none of us will care about our iPhone 14s!!!!

Unless the price stops you getting the 15!!!! I really hope the price rises reported only affect the States this year.

Could be a slightly longer wait for some :(

Potentially. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is just hype. The delays of previous years have never been for the flagship model and Apple know that sales will be down this year due to inflation. Maybe they are ‘leaking’ this info to create a buzz.

Thankfully I’m only going for the pro this year as the ultra/max is too big for my liking.

I want a bigger screen but not 6.7”.

Next years rumoured 6.4” 16 Pro is the sweet spot for me and if it wasn’t for USB-C and titanium, I wouldn’t touch the 15.

The US is definitely getting a price increase regardless of all the American naysayers in this forum. I just hope they don’t give us another one because £150 was already ridiculous last year.

Sold my 14 Pro Max at a Magpie kiosk, didn't know they started charging £10 for the pleasure!
I think someone else mentioned this too! I still think I’d use it as I reckon you’re more likely to get away with scratches, dings etc.

Not that I’ll be upgrading, mind you. I just got myself to a PS5 in the recent sale so that’s my treat for the year

I may have just lucked out with timing a little — happened to come on here, see this thread and was reminded to lock in a price for my 14 Pro 256GB (£710). I think in the half hour since I did that it's dropped £20! Now £690.

Do you happen to know if you have to take the price at the time you go to the kiosk, or does it let you get your saved price?
