It’s the price you locked in at unless they deem your phone to be of a lower grade upon inspection via their remote means. But it’ll tell you there and then and you can reject the downgrade and get your phone back if that’s the case

Hi all. Hope you're all well. Have we started planning what we're going to do yet about selling etc.?

I might keep hold of my iPhone until I have the new one in-hand this year instead of using my old iPhone 7. Means I'll lose a bit of money but the iPhone 7 is unbearably slow and I don't think I can control my Home devices with it anymore.

Try and lock in a price with Music Magpie now, you can save a quote for later and then every 14 days re-add to basket and re-save to keep that price.

I have a feeling this is why the prices are starting to spiral as they will see how many are locked in and keep being saved.

With the rumours of the 15 being higher it should push up the price of the 14 but it seems to be going in the opposite direction - again due to all the saving.

I doubt many people outside of this forum are saving their quotes in advanced - of the hundreds of thousands of people that must trade in their phone around this time of year. No doubt they are just adjusting prices earlier this year due to less profits, higher operating costs etc.

It was only a few weeks ago they started to increase the value.

Has anyone else seen what Sky are doing now in terms of 'leasing' Apple hardware? I initially overlooked it, thinking it would be stupidly priced, but it's definitely worth a look. Avoids the up-front sting, and cheaper than financing a purchase over the same periods:

Gven the fact that many of us trade in our MacBooks every 2 or 3 years, this makes a whole lot of sense!

NB - there is a 'catch' of sorts. You can't get your mitts on a MacBook without adding on an additional data service. However, not as expensive as it sounds... For example, there's a 100MB/month add-on that costs nothing for 12 months, rising to £5/month from month 13.

I did see this! But if I read it right I’m sure it is based on a 4 year loan. I might have read it wrong though

Just seen that when you log into your MM account it shows you how many days you have left of the 14 from your saved basket. Handy for those who may lose track of when they saved for later.

Mine (S7) gets little wrist time now I also have an Ultra, but am tempted with a S9 Black one…

Love the space black… the Hermes strap comes out for special occasions, the braided loop is the daily. Battery life still amazing.

Have stopped wearing the watch to bed so need to get back in the habit for sleep tracking.

I’ll be hanging on to this until the rumours ‘X’ model in the next year or two.
