Agreeing with ultra here but usually it’s not easy to come by walk in stock after the launch day.

Took a lot of searching and using https://inventorywatch.app really helped!

Might be chargeable now but to get instant notification (on my Mac) of stock appearing throughout the day was great

I also can’t honestly remember, but do think it was possible, to buy on release day online for collect in store and pick a different date.. I swear on my last collection a few years ago I saw that. Maybe others who did it more recently know for sure.

I was going at super speed to get it checked out so can’t remember!

Think you can only choose for same day apart from preorder.

As you have said earlier best using Inventory Watch. It has been massively upgraded now and includes a subscription model. There is a discount code on my website.

yes, that's what I was thinking too... pre-order for collection and then select a later date. Just can't remember if that's happened more recently as I've had it delivered the last 2 years.

I collected last year as couldn’t handle the DHL debacle of the year before.

I think I could choose Friday or Saturday.

You also have to be there in your 15 minutes allocated time otherwise you miss out (depending on store).

Is anyone planning on trading in their current phone through music magpie or similar?

I’ve forgotten how to lock in a price for a few weeks

They are currently offering £700 for a 128 14 PM

yeah, I think there will be a fair few longstanding, less prolific posters over that time - I really should post more (which I say that every year!!). Looks like I've been in the UK delivery threads since iPhone 5 so I kind of feel like I know a lot of you quite well 😂 I love this time of year!

I have noticed my AirPods Pro 2 are pinging every now and again like they've been taken off and on the charging pad.
