Good thinking, I forgot about the action button...hopefully it will still arrive this year.
‘FineWoven’ - sounds like something Apple would do.
Edit: But surely too many colour options and the action button appears to be missing.

Yeah, that was the gist of the article I read on Gorilla Glass evolutionThere’s a trade off between hardness to resist scratches and softness to resist shattering.
I bet we do. The dollar price is the baseline so I think if it goes up, all the other prices do too.I’m hoping the UK doesn’t see a price increase as we were hit with one last year and our friends over the pond where not… however I do realise that is extreme wishful thinking on my behalf![]()
99.99% guaranteed if US prices go up so does everywhere else.I bet we do. The dollar price is the baseline so I think if it goes up, all the other prices do too.
If the attraction is getting a scratch-free shiny new screen, it's only £25 on the PM with AppleCare+. Given that the Music Magpie price differential right now I'm typing this is £720 (Excellent - no scratches) v £612 (Good - scratches allowed) for the 14PM 256GB, so £108, it could be a no-brainer to anyone whose screen is scratched to go down the AppleCare+ route before trading in. Food for thought!Does anyone bother getting a replacement iPhone from Apple under Apple care+ to then sell on or trade in with MM? You take a hit on the excess fee but means you should qualify for the best trade in value.
you can’t claim on AC+ to get the screen replaced can you for scratches, So clumsy moment neededIf the attraction is getting a scratch-free shiny new screen, it's only £25 on the PM with AppleCare+. Nothing cosmetic, no.you can’t claim on AC+ to get the screen replaced can you for scratches, So clumsy moment needed
you need to look on Uswitch .. O2 have excellent pricing there!Yeah they do but I pay £9 a month for 12GB data and unlimited min and texts. Closest option on O2 is 10GB data with unlimited min and texts for £15 a month.
If only someone had posted that info only a few posts back… 🤣you need to look on Uswitch .. O2 have excellent pricing there! View attachment 2252731

What about…
A thread for the non Pros And a thread for the Pros, with links to each other in OP?
Im not interested in non Pro stuff, so it makes sense from that perspective and keeps things a little tidier.
Lol yup .. I was late to the party, sorry. I saw your post after I’d answered 😁 .. Uswitch are good though .. it’s a shame EE don’t have their stuff on there any moreIf only someone had posted that info only a few posts back… 🤣
Yeah that would make sense plus help keep things in order. I'm in the Pro camp too, I'm sure the non Pro buyers would appreciate a separate thread too from the Pro's.What about…

Yes, actually creating two threads for Pro and non-Pro's when the usual carnage happens would break MacRumors forums! Keep us crazies in one place! 😄Because the thread isn’t about the model you are buying!! That’s a bi-product of the thread!! The thread is about the process and experience and hyped excitement of watching, pre-pre-ordering, preordering, dispatching and receiving.
This upgrade cycle seems to be particularly bad for fakes, concepts or renders being passed off as real.So these were faked

Gotta be that grey for me looking at these! I think/hope it'll match quite nicely to the aluminium silver on Macs.
The Space Black crew will be disappointed - looks a lot lighter than the 14 Pro series. The Silver back looks more cream/golden than white in hue while the Blue model is giving Pacific Blue vibes.
I will help you get through it like you did me last year. In your own way. 😂Not sure I am a fan of the grey in that pic 😬👀 I might be trembling on the fence like you this year!
You were changing your mind so much you just needed me to tell you what you were doing! 😂I will help you get through it like you did me last year. In your own way. 😂
(I lowkey agree with you though. I think we may only know after the event and hands ons, and maybe not even then!)
Yeah I hope there is no delays in the Pro Max. Always had the larger screen, then decided to give the the 13 Pro a go. But missed the extra screen space and trying to train my fat thumbs wasn't fun.yep, hopefully no delays in the pro Max.. or at least a quick completion of the pre-pre on the 22nd for an initial batch before dates slip!
not had that tension of missing out on launch day stock in a good few years as Apple have made the process quite slick now
those days of 8am pre-orders and missing out if you didn't get one in by 8.07 seem like they've long gone.
