128Gb? On IUP or a 0%? How much profit you getting after?

Are you on IUP or 0%? Decent profit.

I’m on a 0% Barclays this year, not the IUP. It has AC+ as well, will I be able to cancel AC+ and get a partial refund if trading in? Got a MM for £680 at moment (before kiosk fee and problems mentioned above though)

I’m on the 0%

Works out to be about £130 profit once I’ve got my apple care refund.

Good, I’m hoping to hold onto mine until do a transfer as have eSIM. Hopefully MM hold price until then (..if I upgrade…).

So how much is AC+ monthly fee as mine is rolled into 1 monthly charge.

Can I still trade in before paying 0% off, or do you have to pay off flat as not your iPhone as such? or it doesn’t really matter as still paying loan, or paid it off.

I took a 24 month agreement for the phone and AppleCare (£1099 for the phone £250 for AppleCare theft and loss). They have just refunded £127 for AppleCare.

Not sure this time whether to just have the phone on the 24 month finance and then do the monthly AppleCare separately!

Don’t forget if you take AC+ monthly than add it to your Barclays loan, AC+ is more expensive

iPhone 14 Pro Max sold to MM at the Kiosk for £680 really good experience offered correct price straight away and money in account before i got home

Paid off the Barclays loan on £598
AppleCare refund of £101
Leaves me with a total profit of £184

Now to look forward to the keynote next Tuesday and hoping there is no pre-order issues like last year

Lol I love your accounting :)

My wife would say:

"So you spent £1199 on a phone, paid £199 for insurance, got £680 for it 11 months later so lost £519 in the last year, and spent £98 on insurance. At least you paid off the £600 debt you had left. So you want to take out another £1500 loan this year?"

If you had paid £1199 for it upfront you would have not made a profit of £184, but lost £519 lol in depreciation.

However, that is exactly how I would sell the iPhone 15 to her :)

Can you upgrade AC+ after two weeks or so but within 60 days period.

For Example: Initially you took out AC+ with out theft and loss. After a week or two you decided to upgrade it.

Is that possible?

Another words you rented the phone for 11 months £680 lol

I've got £725 saved on MM for my 14 Pro 256GB but waiting until the event to decide weather or not to pull the trigger.
My job security at the moment is not great which if you have seen the news about the Wilko chain of stores you'll understand. I actually work for a separate company that runs the Cafes in 10 Wilko stores but if the stores go we'll be stuffed as well.

They will try to push this as a new "feature" even though braided cables have been for sale for a decade lol.
Ah but we all know apples braided cables will be different from the rest after being in development for 6 years to create the most durable soft cable that when plugged into your phone powers a small house on the other side of the world for free 🤑

I did think it was a definite example of “man maths” but I had assumed he didn’t actually think he’d made a profit 😂

I‘m still trying to work out where the profit has come from.

Okay, feel free to "fanboi" me, but I use the Apple "woven" Lightning to USB-C cable that came with my iMac (not sold separately) as my main charging cable and it definitely feels so much nicer than an old Anker "braided" one that I had. So much so that I got the Apple USB-C to USB-C cable that has the same "woven" material - alas it's only available in 1M length. It's the same material as the MagSafe 3.

Was it 3 times the price of the Anker 😆. I have a 6ft USB-C to USB-C Anker one there strongest and it’s still flawless
