What model are you getting?

confirmed order at 13.03.... god it felt like it was half an hour before I got in!

this was the first time in forever the App Store app opened first time bang on 1pm... just the error on the finally step of checkout when saving address.. moved to apple.com on a browser (the site showed store down, but the menu for my account was working and went into 'account' my pre-order was there) and completed with a few clicks!

Same happened to me. Faffing about with it adding to cart and the page not loading, jumped from 16th Sept collection in my local store to early October. No thanks, I'll wait now.

I have an order number and I can see the order in my account but no email and the payment hasn't been taken. Anyone else got the same thing?

Got my confirmed email 13:01 ordered via the iPad app

mine pre pre was on the web in the account section...

think it was in a coming up section..
 
Well very hair raising.

Got in finally at 13:14. Added a 14pro 256 gold to bag for 16th delivery. added the 3 gift cards and then pay now..hung for ages, then authorised the balance in bank app, then nothing for 5 mins and said sorry start again. Managed to get it done at 13:25, still remarkably 16th del
 
Well in all the years I’ve been doing this, this has been the worst experience. Took me ages to get into the app. Tried the website too and was the same.

Carried on with my saved preorder to get to the address part and it just kept throwing errors up at me.

Shut down the app went again exactly the same issue.

Got a little further just a moment ago and saw the date had slipped, tried hitting the order button again another dam error.

Tried again but click collect from store. Kept throwing more errors up at me. Just kept hitting the order button and it’s just gone through.

What a pain in the arse that was

That's a nope from me. The store would not load, no matter how many times I refreshed it on all three devices I had set up.
When I finally got in, it would only allow collection and by the time I got to checkout with that, even that was saying no.

What are my options to get a launch weekend phone now?

they'll filter through.. apples data centres are getting a hammering!

things like order history, my account etc will all be a bit hit and miss for a while
 
Got a 16th delivery on Pro Max Space Black 1TB. Got conf email at 13:06

Website came back before the app for me this time so used that.
 
That was a joke....system was rubbish. Did pre order went in couldn't complete at check out, did apply pay all good. Get order confirmation then check order, awaiting payment. Had to re do payment then system crashes. 4th time of trying payment seems to have been taken..30 mins later

What was the point of the pre order get ready !!

Gave up in the end, terrible experience, i kept getting so far then page not found, every time i picked a store and pick up time and then it timing out it was no longer available at that store, start again and find somewhere else same again. in the end no stock. even got as far as processing payment, nope gone again. shocking experience.

Check 6/7am early morning on Friday as you will have stores that have pick up available.
