Worst experience I've ever had. Lost all of my pre-application on the details on the app, can't order online or on the app and now dates have slipped to Mid October. Making me want to get a Pixel instead now. ****ing ********.
Or wait to buy it elsewhere on launch day
 
Capital One declined my payment, even though it was authorised yesterday using their app. I called them, really annoyed. I told them I buy a new iPhone every year around Sept/Oct so there is no way it should have been flagged as 'unusual activity'. Unfortunately the UK centres are closed today because of recent events. It has worked out OK though, Capital One were satisfied that the purchase was genuine and was me making it and I went back in to 'change' the payment method on the existing order - so I didn't lose out at all. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is arriving on 16th September.
 
iPhone 14 Pro Max 512GB in Space Black, pre-ordered yesterday, on the website at 1pm today, ordered without issue. Delivers 16th.

Now, the separate silicone case that I wanted to order separately still hasn't gone through because of various website issues. (Can't do it in the app because I get a company discount that has to be done via the website.)
 
Had a weird issue where it kept telling my phone number was incorrect... then would not let me enter a new number? Never had that before.
I was doing in-store pickup but had to fill out details for somebody else to pick up to get it to through.

Sweating over!
 
Horrendous. Never usually have a problem. Wouldn’t accept my phone number in the check out so many times. Moved to browser and wouldn’t even load or sign in. Dates slipped massively for delivery but managed to get a pick up slot for Friday afternoon.

Very frustrating.

this was how it looked last night for me... it was the same at 1pm, just with a link to complete pre-order.

So unimpressed that even when using the banking app two factor, it still thinks this is fraud and blocks the transaction. I assume my original ship date is now lost.

confirmed order at 13.03.... god it felt like it was half an hour before I got in!

this was the first time in forever the App Store app opened first time bang on 1pm... just the error on the finally step of checkout when saving address.. moved to apple.com on a browser (the site showed store down, but the menu for my account was working and went into 'account' my pre-order was there) and completed with a few clicks!

I was so shocked how easy it was. Only thing I couldn't do is collect but I decided to have to delivered instead so I can play the tracking game next Friday
