absolutely balls up.

Did another credit application for some reason, now my order is on hold. FFS.

Horrendous. Never usually have a problem. Wouldn’t accept my phone number in the check out so many times. Moved to browser and wouldn’t even load or sign in. Dates slipped massively for delivery but managed to get a pick up slot for Friday afternoon.

Very frustrating.
Exactly the same for me.. Delivery slipped to 26th so had to order collection on 16th :(

Never used more than 50GB on an iPhone and I’ve always bought the max storage. This year I’ve gone for the lowest, 128GB. We’ll see how i fair before upgrading next year.

So unimpressed that even when using the banking app two factor, it still thinks this is fraud and blocks the transaction. I assume my original ship date is now lost.
If you checked out and got a delivery date you might still be okay. In previous years Apple try to take payment again plus they don't actually take payment until they dispatch

EE PRE ORDER done

256gb iPhone 14 pro max black
With apple one included
Was £105 but I got for £84 with 20% discount

She was refusing the discount at first as she said there was already a big discount for upgrading so I said no problem just put the order r through as I want it for launch day and I’ll dispute and complain about that later, then she spoke to her manager and they changed their kind and gave me the 20% - great deal

I’ve ordered as a new customer through EE, all gone through and fairly painless,

Just wondered is there any way of knowing if it will be delivered on launch day, nothing on the confirmation to suggest it won’t be, but nothing to suggest it will either

Cheers

For me one of the worst years of Apple day 1 ordering.

13:08 and the Apple Store on my iPad, on my iPhone and on my PC browser were all showing the we're-getting-stuff-ready message despite numerous messages here from people who had already turned their pre-orders into firm orders. I wondered if Apple was somehow blocking my fibre IP address so I disabled WiFi and went to mobile data and I then saw the active store on my iPhone by which time delivery was Sep 26 - Oct 3. I switched to local store pickup and got a Sep 16 date but then the transaction kept failing with an interruption-try-again message. I went to my PC browser (on my broadband) which was now showing the active store and placed a new order but had to get the 128GB model instead of the 256GB model to get 16th Sep pickup and by then the closest pickup was a store 8 miles away. (I'm not too bothered about the memory, I had the same issue last year when I wanted the 256GB but had to get 128GB if I wanted day 1 and I'm still only using 79.2GB plus it's easy for me to get to the other store.) On placing the order on the web site it got stuck on the spinning wheel and never came back to me confirming that the order had gone through. I then went back to the Apple Store app on my iPhone and could see the order under my orders even though I haven't yet had any order confirmation. Oh, and while placing my web order I had to re-log in 3 times simply to click through about 4 pages to finally get to the payment.

All in all this has been a wretched experience this year.

It looks like they took 1p, then another attempt they took the full amount and had it declined.

On a long hold to the bank to try and sort it. Fingers crossed.

I don't need it on day 1, but it would be nice :D

Does anyone have any idea why the iPhone Upgrade Programme pricing seems to have changed? I looked last night and the 14 Pro was £61.45, and now it says £53.45. Apple Store app still says the higher price.

Stuck here...

Placing a 2nd order for pickup as I can't risk the first one not being here on the 16th as I'll be away.
(I'll cancel the first one if this goes through!) :)
