I've placed an order with Currys instead for 3 yr 0% credit but no clue if it will arrive on launch day 🙁

It will, curry’s will deliver. I’ve had from them before on launch day

Yes - but took 10-15mins for them to appear in the store payment options.

They've been horrendous on previous launch days, I would really cancel if I were you. AO were good for me before.

Currys say it will arrive on the day and then they email everyone to say it won't. This has happened at least three times.

Lost my preorder, wouldn’t accept my Apple password, decided it didn’t like my phone number (unchanged in more than 10 years) so eventually resorted to using my Mac rather than the store app on my phone or iPad (even then it took about 3 attempts to sign on and then kept on being diverted to the US site). Finally got through the process at about 1.25pm and thankfully the one I wanted was still in stock for launch day. By far and away the worst pre-order day experience ever. It’s not like this is a new thing as have been preordering since the iPhone 5 came out.

Yes this happened to me last year, same is this year. I have re done payment and it says arrives 16th sep, payment is pending on MBNA

I just had issues with MBNA now. I put it through on Apple Pay, got confirmation email, then got a Declined notification from the wallet app.
Had to go to Apple.com and change the payment method on the order. Entered the card details manually and confirmed the transaction on the MBNA app. Bit of a panic but the delivery date is still 16th September and the transaction is now pending on my MBNA card.
Did the same happen to you?

I'm not sure about that - the monthly price on the 14 Pro page is £45.79, and the Upgrade Programme page says it includes Applecare. I'm assuming it's an error but...

Well that was extremely disappointing... apple store didn't come up on both Mac and Apple store app till 1.07... No pickup slots left at local store and delivery had slipped to the 26th...

Didn't bother ordering and will chance it in the store as a walk up.

Yeah in fairness I got my 11 pro from them actually, and it came on launch day. Just worry that it took about 15 mins to get through the checkout/credit process, by which point they'd taken the phone off sale. Hopefully it'll all be good!

You are not alone with this. I had a nightmare trying to order via the app. The phone number on the shipping address had gone missing for some reason and no matter what I tried to enter I kept getting an “error processing your request. Please try later”. In the end I had to use the web which went through cleanly. Lost 10 to 14 days on the delivery date. Not a first world issue but annoying that the app won’t accept my phone number. Just called tech support and they can’t figure out why either. Never had an issue before.
