Well, it came - DHL about 15.35. just as they said it would. 15 Pro in black titanium, 128GB.Looks the business - setting it up from my old iPhone 13 Pro.

No because what’s stopping you from damaging the iPhone in the 60 days? Also AppleCare is discounted when taking out the 0% Barclays finance.

If you're clumsy enough then yeah buy it ASAP. For most people you should be fine to hold off and get the most out of it. If it's cheaper on Barclays then I suppose that is worth doing at time of purchase. What's the price difference?

Thanks, will do some shopping and eating then check again in couple of hours. Will give them a call if nothing changes then as the other member suggested.
Since this is a gift. I was hoping to collect it before meeting up with the misses. There goes the surprise lol!

Finally set up! Only took 3 hours. Never had it like this before. Anyway, the 15 pro max seems much smaller than the 14 pro max. Love the size.

All I did was remove the factory protection from the iphone's screen, locate the orange frame with protector installed onto the iphone, made sure it was pushed down onto the iphone, then gently gripped both sides of the frame, then pulled the tab all the way out & waited for all the air to disappear from under the glass protector, then removed the frame.
I then used the provided tool to push the air out from the edges & that was it done, perfect position on the screen.

Sounds impossible doing all this with just two hands… I’ll need at least three for all this.
I’ll admit as much as it pissed me off I did order another set and will try again tomorrow.. and if needed my partner will be home to assist 😂 🤦 😂

It is a bit smaller than a 14 Pro Max in width/length but the screen stays the same size. The 15 Pro Max is slightly thicker but I'm not sure if that's the size of the camera bump which looks bigger (again) this year

Just a few things to try;

- Update your old device to iOS 17
- Reboot both devices and try again
- Ensure your devices are charged
- Use a Mac/PC to transfer

Anyone tried the usbc cable that came in the box? Mine wobbles a bit in the iPhone usbc port and not secure like with a lightning cable. Good job I’m buying a MagSafe nightstand or else it would drive me mad.

No wobble here, as secure as any other quality USB-C cable is.

Not my year for a new iPhone! I went on at 6am and reserved two - what I thought were Pro Max - and after work I have now checked and see they were Pro models for tomorrow. So I cancelled.… that is what happens half asleep at 6am.

I will try again tomorrow although I expect now it will be next week before I can find a Pro Max to pick up on the basis that these Saturday pick ups almost certainly came with the launch day stock and there will not be any more deliveries before next week…

Busy day at work so only just managed to put my screen protector on (the phone was delivered at 7:30am)!!

Putting on the screen protector took about 20 seconds and was very easy not a single air bubble or fluff caught but not sure if it's worth £16.99 but at least it was a two pack.
