I had this problem. From what I can read you're supposed to un-pair from your old phone first.
Otherwise you have to erase from the watch, then set-up as a new watch (although it kept the settings).

Mine was fine. Just held the new phone near my watch and it prompted me to pair it.

Busy day at work so only just managed to put my screen protector on (the phone was delivered at 7:30am)!!

Putting on the screen protector took about 20 seconds and was very easy not a single air bubble or fluff caught but not sure if it's worth £16.99 but at least it was a two pack.

I just fitted an ESR armorite to my 15PM. the frame to align it seemed slightly too small this year, first one I ruined due to the frame getting in the way. got the second one installed ok but not as good an experience as last year.

Interesting.
When I tried that, it just kept saying 'Unable to connect to Apple Watch'. Rebooting both devices didn't help, so I had to erase.

This is what I’ve done in the past, but I do remember one year they didn’t match up… it’s so annoying.

We've just been talking about that.
Mine kept saying 'Unable to connect to Apple Watch', so I had to erase on the Apple Watch and setup as new Watch (it keeps your old settings thankfully).

It's not annoying but it'd bother me having it on screen all the time. If people don't like it then it's good to know you can hide it.

Probably detects a fall that can potentially damge the phone and flags it when trying to purchase AppleCare? It might say you need to take it to a store for inspection before you can buy it.

They're definitely not!
The enclosed cable is a charging cable, with limited data capabilities. If you want fast data transfer speeds, you'll need a more expensive cable that's much thicker.
