While you're waiting, have a watch of this teardown video of the XS; just posted this morning..

Fascinating to see how they squeeze so much into the device, and how it is all neatly complex.

I’ve pre ordered a iPhone Xs via o2 upgrade but it’s still saying in progress has anyone had any emails or dispatch confirmation email or text from o2

Nothing yet, last time I had a dispatch message between 9-10pm from o2 when my 7 Plus was on the way. Just had a look on the o2 forums and some have started getting dispatch messages for home delivery

I absolutely love the sound of the Dutch language! So similar yet so different. You can see why replacing the back panel of the iPhone X is so expensive!

I’m sure someone’s said it already, but please DO NOT post your tracking IDs or screenshots containing tracking IDs, consignment numbers, order IDs etc.

It happened with both the X and the 7 - people were too eager to share this information, perhaps without even realising, and with this information people were able to change delivery dates and even delivery addresses.
THIS!! massively important not to do so!

people have shared a screenshot of their confirmation text (which had the link to manage the order) and have changed the date for delivery... even after he managed to get DPD to change it back, whoever had access would then go back in and change it again... complete tools they were who ever did it.

Can you share who you order with? I'm waiting on people who ordered directly from Apple (like me) to have shipped/dispatched or courier messages!
I order it direct from Apple. It is still showing PFD on the Apple website.
EDIT. Just changed to dispatched.

been in this position many a time... the agonising wait for your order to dispatch when it feels like everyone else has.. we all know it will do, just the painful wait watching it change...

it will happen though

they've all closed down.. was one in Bromley and one right near cannon st station in London.. both gone now
I’ve just checked (as I’d never heard of them) and there’s one in our local Debenhams, which is under a mile away.

Both my phones have shipped. Tracking link takes me to Syncreon and then managing order from there takes me to UK Mail.

Safe to assume its UK Mail yeah?

If you click on your order number and scroll down to the bottom does it show you anything? Mine still says in progress until I click the order and scroll down, then it shows a UK Mail tracking number.

So...

I’m currently on iUP and have ordered an XSM.

I’m away at the mo, so I was ok with the “will arrive in store by 29th of September”.

However, I’m back on the 30th and planning to go and collect it in the morning - when you get your confirmation email, do you get the option to choose an actual date?

this all brings back memories of my direct form China
Does anyone know if you can do delivery instructions with UKMail? Support is non-existent.
pretty sure apple insist on signature from the house and they don't let you deliver to neighbour etc..

so you've already reserved for an IUP upgrade?

Just a word of warning, if you have problems with UKMail, their support is dreadful. Just tried to contact their support number about something and it is one of them automated voice thingy's and you have to press a number of key combinations to get through to a human (I still haven't)

I'm not sure if having an automated phone system makes a company's support 'dreadful'. Doesn't pretty much every company with a large call volume have something similar? For the most part it makes things quicker and more efficient. Apple will have a similar system in place. Just press the numbers that relate to your enquiry. 😉

I know what you mean but all the options are taking me to dead ends to go online! I've pressed 0 and mashed a couple of other buttons but nothing. I'll probably just contact Apple about it tbh..
