I think it shows the randomness of all this that mine was among the first to go to preparing for shipment early yesterday evening, but is still stuck there now.

i know... my order stat changed last night ---> preparing for shipment after most of the 16gb white changed to preparing for shipment

Mine just says shipped on 13th Oct 11. Nothing about estimated delivery date. I ordered the same model and got my confirmation e-mail 2 mins before you.
My CPW order hasNt shipped yet..... There's no details on the tracking number yet. Hope it still arrives tomorrow.

My 32GB White has shipped. (For information: ordered as soon as preorder site came online).
I'm still doubtful it'll be delivered tomorrow as apparently the vast ocean that is the Irish Sea seems to add a day onto every delivery I get so if it doesn't look like it's going to arrive tomorrow it's going to be an early start to queue up at the Apple Store. Fingers crossed though, I really can't be bothered getting out of bed at stupid o'clock.

why not? i would expect our status to be updated later today to "shipped" for delivery tomorrow...

Same, Noticed mine had changed at 10:05 last night.
For those who have had their shipped, did the email come through instantly to notify its been shipped? Or did anyone notice it had been shipped, then got the email?
Black 64GB ordered within minutes of store coming up, confirmation email received at 9:19... still says Preparing for Shipment.

Its pretty certain they are not coming from china now, seeing as some people have reported theirs being tracked around birmingham.

wait till tonight to decide.. if you dont get a shipping email/status update then go bull ring tomorrow and get a phone... then post the old one out.. you can still post the old one up until post offices close
