There seems to be quite a few people who've got order statuses of SHIPPED on the Apple site and on the UPS site:

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

Some of these people are saying they've got delivery dates of tomorrow, but mine still says "On or before 17th" on the Apple site and I can't see any other date anywhere else. Where are people getting their delivery dates from?

Mine says 14th on the Apple site, still have the same status as you on UPS.

Likewise... first time I've decided to save myself the "hassle" of queueing at an Apple Store. Think I made the wrong choice.

Oh, I know!

I was like "Meh, I'll just order online and have it delivered on Friday. I'm not standing bout in the freezing cold like a snowman at silly o'clock!" Probably better off doing that...

I'm getting the shipping label created thing on UPS. Looks like mine's with them. White 32, ordered first thing.

Anyone have a list of their UK distribution centres? I could do with intercepting mine in the morning

thats what i got from Syncreon....

BOOM, it's shipped, UPS, estimated delivery Friday 14th!

Looks like Im going to get it on release day after all. Well done Apple :)

got my date from my shipment email from apple and also from the shipment page after you click 'track shipment' on the apple order page

Hmmm... not happy that mine says 'On or Before 17th' then if Apple are saying 14th to other people. Mind you last year I even got an email from Apple a couple of days before saying mine was going to be delayed because of where I lived (nowhere remote or obscure!), but it still turned up on launch day so let's just hope it's Apple trying to not take any chances.

Apple Store still says preparing for shipment. Using the UPS trick to get my tracking number it says in transit on time for delivery by end of day tomorrow! :D

what numbers do you use to get the tracking info?

mine keeps saying they arent right!

it asks for 'Order number' and 'Sales order number' what are these in relation to what apple gives you by clicking on the 'Track now' button in my order area?

The last time I saw a status page like that there was a customs fee to pay.

I'd call them.

All the best,

Mike

Thanks.

Called them, no issues. It's being held in their depot for a delivery tomorrow. Apparently when there is no status update their website says "Please Call".

So for those who have TNT I guess you'll get them tomorrow! :)

Tamworth, Staffordshire is more than likely the place your iPhone will be right now.

People in France on the International thread are having their iPhones shipped from the Tamworth distribution centre through UPS.

In the past I've called Apple and/or the courier to ask for more info. I know TNT and DHL have more info than they offer on the web... UPS might be the same.

for order number you use the main one (not W... one) and for sales the top one called Additional.

UPS 'trick' worked for me as well, I'm geussing it's being trunked to a dist centre now and then will be loaded onto delivery truck overnight for delivery tomorrow.
