UK iPhone 4S thread.

Bloody hell. I won't be in tomorrow, and it seems the nearest syncreon depot is miles away. It's going to take at least an hour to collect from there! But UPS and TNT are just as far away.. frustrating, because I know there's a big delivery company depot not a mile away from home.

They'd better leave it with a neighbour, or failing that redeliver on saturdays!

Well I'm getting cross with the syncreon people! I put in the numbers to track an it gives me my name and address and that the last tracking was yesterday at 22:53 but there NOTHING at all under tracking updates!

What are others seeing please?!!!

Ah yes, that works for me too (same result). You need to 'Track with Reference" and enter your W212121212-type number but don't enter or change anything else - when I tried before I was putting in my postcode etc and it didn't come up with anything.

The results also give you your proper UPS tracking number at the top of the screen, you can use this if you're running a tracking widget or app.

awesome!! this also worked for me... but i think the labels are just created as part of the "preparing" stage..

when it is "shipped" it probably means the stuff is ready for UPS to come collect it and then deliver it..

hat tip to getting the tracking number this way though :)

mine's still "preparing" but at least i have a tracking number :p

Being punished for getting in there early!

Their website is dire, it doesnt seem to work at all. UPS delivered my imac, and we have a contract with them at work, might of been able to sweet talk my way into an early delivery! LOL

I've managed to sweet talk R&D dept at work to print me some iphone cases with my dog on :)

Exactly the same. I'm sure later it'll be updated - probably when the site is down so we can't see it.
 
What's got two thumbs, a handsome face and just got a text from Orange saying my phone will be delivered tomorrow morning?

Thanks for this info .. have made note of the tracking number now too!

I ordered a White 32GB minutes after Apple's online store came back up on Friday 7th, and mine is now displaying Shipped.

No tracking info yet, but I'm sure anyone who ordered theirs on Friday will see it shipped today.

Won't they leave it at your nearest Postal depo?
 
Anyone Scots/Glasweigans order through apple and get their status changed to shipped yet?

Tried the trick with UPS and it didnt work so I assume TNT is shipping my order.
 
Label Created!

Even though Apples website still says "preparing for shipment" the UPS site is now accepting my Apple Order number and is saying a shipping label has been created. Whoop Whoop it's on its way - well almost!

Cool iOS5(?) feature to try while you wait. Maybe old, but I haven't seen it before. Works only on confirmed UPS tracking details.
1. Send the tracking detail number to your mail.
2. touch and hold on the number in the mail and u get a cool tracking option. :cool:
 
Order for a White 32GB iPhone placed at ~9:00am on the 7th, confirmation email at ~10:30am, shipment notification at 2:09pm today, first tracked on UPS website at 2:44pm today :)

Hope I've provided all the useful details!
