If it's going by UPS all you need is your original order number (starts with a W), not a tracking number, then follow the instructions given above and elsewhere. DON'T put any other info into the UPS tracker like your postcode, JUST the W number in TRACK BY REFERENCE.

I know people are saying to use one of the other numbers provided when your item status changes to SHIPPED, but my W number works for me.

Anyone with a 2 x iPhone order (single order) been dispatched yet?

Mine, ordered before 8.55am on Friday from Apple's site is still preparing :(

I'm wondering whether the dual iPhone will have a negative impact.

Just got my shipping email :)

Ordered as soon as site went up, moved to prepared for shipping last night and should be with me tomorrow (just outside Edinburgh). Can't come soon enough - been using an old battered Nokia since I sold my 4 last week.

I think I'll put on some cologne so at least I smell nice when apple's "preparing for shipment" f£&%s me!! lol

Do you mean dispatched or the status changed to dispatched?

Some of the statuses won't update till the early hours of tomorrow morning based on last year, you might not even get your dispatch email till after your iPhone!
 
My white 32GB iPhone was last located in Tamworth, and is on time for delivery tomorrow (by end of day). Apple's site still says "Preparing for shipping", I have no email and no money has been took from my bank. If you haven't heard anything from Apple then go to the UPS site and put your Order Ref (in your confirmation email when you pre ordered) in "Track by Reference" and see if that helps. I'm done with Apples site now! Just going to keep checking on the UPS site from now on.

Can you only track your order if you ordered directly from apple? If not, anyone know how I track my order from three?
 
'Track Shipment' link now working. Ordered from Apple.com on October 7, (before the order page looked pretty ;)).

Delivery, October 14 - (Subject to Change).

Just got dispatch email from Three. Not getting delivery until Saturday. Which is slightly annoying as I ordered as soon as I could last Friday. As there website wasn't working I can't see many people ordering before I did...
 
apple site still says preparing shipment :(. just checked ups. its out on transit for delivery by 2moro!!! IM BUZZING. ive not had a phone all week since selling my iphone 4.

Not at all happy with Apple if my phone doesn't turn up tomorrow. I ordered with in minutes store went up and even then am getting it on 17th October.

To be honest with all the mixed feelings I had between I ordered and I saw tracking info, I think it was better to waste 4-5 hours standing in the line to get this phone rather than wasting my time this whole week thinking only about iPhone. Thats literally pathetic on apple's part!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

My 64gb Black has just changed to shipped.

Ordered on Apple website 9:45am on the 7th
Confirmed in email approx 10:40am
Changed to preparing to ship @ approx 6pm yesterday
Changed to shipped 6:30pm Today

I am going to now assume mine must be dispatching sooooon *hopes*.
 
Damn. When I put the Wxxxxx order number into the UPS system, I get a message that my white 32Gb is "in transit" but with "Scheduled Delivery" for Monday 17 October "by end of day".

It's in Tamworth right now but I guess they can't get it to Northern Ireland by tomorrow. You might think that's reasonable but Royal Mail do next-day delivery across the Irish Sea without a hitch. I know it's just 4 days but I SO wanted it tomorrow.

Yes i ordered 2 x Back 16gb and they have been shipped today
