UK iPhone 4S thread.

Still "Processing"...

Checked with the credit card company - they've approved the transaction, so it's not held up there..

Ordered 7th@ 10ish, Confirmed at 1:15pm..

Still "Ships by October 14th" apparently..

This is certainly a lesson in patience, lol

If I'm being honest, I feel the same as you about the 4S. Getting caught up in the hype has messed about with my common sense, though I highly doubt I'll actually go and take out a new contract for one 😱

You know, since friday 7th I've been the most miserable git in the world...and past 2 days i have been unbearable (been mentioned several times)...but hoping when i show off the ip4s all will be forgiven 😛

Mine has also been transferred from Syncreon to UK Mail, I have no idea what time they come around though! Will probably have to pick it up from the depot on Saturday as I have to work in the afternoon. Does anyone know if items will be available to collect from a UK Mail depot the evening of a failed delivery attempt? Normally DPD delivers to me!
 
Can i point out the "Shipped" status on apples website are clearly screwed up.

They're not going to send them out one at a time in there own personal lorry, apples random 'Shipped' status seems to suggest so. They'll leave on lorries in there hundreds at a time.

can anyone with a kind heart please help me to track my order 🙁 it doeant seem to work i have tried all the possible combinations please
 
I'm still stuck on Preparing for Shipment Dispatched: Ships by October 14th.

Apple site won't even let me log in to check it, I have to check it via the order number and my post code.

Can't find it on any of the courier websites.

Ordered it as soon as the site went live last friday, and got a confirmation email soon after.

I feel like I'm never gonna get my White 32gb iPhone 4S 🙁
 
So bow that I know its not being delivered tomorrow my hope is that the iPhone reaches the hub tomorrow, then I can maybe take a drive to the UPS HUB and try and get it off them then rather than having to wait till Monday!

What about you other Northern Irelanders whats your situ?
 
Just got my confirmation shipping email from apple! Ordered at 8.41am. Live in London. Set for 14 October. 2 x iPhone 32GB in white. Roll on tomorrow!
 
It's literally just gone Shipped (via TNT). Estimated for tomorrow.

Although none of the TNT reference numbers work.

(Pre-order confirmation was at 12:41 on Friday - went shipped only five minutes ago).

Mine said by the 17th on the Apple site when it first shipped this afternoon, once UPS had processed it though it changed to 14th on Apple.
 
dad pre-ordered a black, 16gb iP4s at 09:15am last friday

I pre-ordered a white, 16gb iP4s at 10:30am last friday.

Both say shipped, but his delivery date is the 17th and mine is the 14th😀


Don't know why there's a difference, I'm guessing that the black is still more popular than the white.
 
What are my chances of walking into an Apple store tomorrow and just picking one up?

Might try at lunchtime, or after work about 4:30pm.

Not overly fussed if I get one, as I have the 4 anyway, but figured it might be worth a shot.

Ordered at about 10am on 7th and got confirmation at 1:30pm.

Order went to Preparing shipment at about midnight last night, and changed to Shipped at about 5pm today. Tracking details work for UKMail.

On schedule for delivery tomorrow!!😀:apple:😀
 
If you want to track by TNT...

Take the "Tracking Number" from the Apple Page and use it in the TNT "Reference Number" (and not 'consignment reference').

Looks like it's in Nuneaton.

Hi there, another Northern Irelander here - just got an update on the TNT site. If you check from tnt.com rather than the UK version of the site you seem to get more detailed information. Still hoping for a delivery tomorrow at some stage!! 🙂 😀
