UK iPhone 4S thread.

I envy those who have managed to secure proper upgrades with their carriers and can expect their new devices in the next few days.

Tesco Mobile still haven't gotten their act together and even given me a straight answer about my upgrade options.

All I know is that I can apparently upgrade, but until they have more 4S details they can't give me any prices, dates etc.

I'll give it until Monday before I just go order from another carrier...
 
I'm in Manchester and my iPhone was last tracked at Tamworth. I'm guessing that means it will travel to UPS Manchester tonight? If that's the case, my address is literally on the same road as UPS Manchester and I wondered if that meant I would be likely to receive delivery at the start of the round in the morning or at the very end later in the day? Thanks for any help.

Yup, rather annoyingly mines Monday too ... But at least I know it's coming!! Not out ofcthecquestion for tomorrow though I suspect it'll depend on how many gazillion others he has to deliver lol

When I put my Wxxxx order number into the UPS system it's not found.

I ordered at 10:30, confirmed at 12:41.

As of now it's still preparing for shipment.
 
Something interesting just happened. I ordered a 64gb Black, a micro USB connector, and a dock. I JUST received an email saying the dock will be sent separately. But the email also said the iPhone will be dispatched on or before the 14th. The order status page still says processing. So I now don't know whether I should queue up tomorrow morning or not! Arrrggghhh, what a mess...
 
Confirmed saturday delivery for Three.. by 1pm. My experience with royal mail by 1PM is pretty good so hoping for the morning (hopefully - as I have to give notice at the registry office at 11.45!!!).

Yep, I posted my entire email on the last page. Same thing happened here you see!
 
Ok, so the Apple tracking finally shows up but I can't find it on UPS, TNT or UK Mail. What am I doing wrong? Also, does everyone's Apple tracking show tomorrow for the estimated delivery date? The email I received said the 17th from Apple.

Tesco have been strangely quiet. Aside from releasing tariffs and asking for pre-registrations they've said nothing about availability. They did say on twitter that existing customers will be prioritised, so I assume we'll see something tomorrow.

Personally, I already have an iPhone 4, so I don't really need to upgrade - I'd like a 4S, but it wouldn't take much convincing for me to get my existing unlocked and use it on another carrier. Tesco's stance is interesting considering that they're really trying to build up market share - and keeping existing customers happy should be part of that, though they still have time to turn it around.

Same email for me, same time!
 
OK found mine is not shipping with Syncreon Parcel Delivery, and is being shipped by UK Mail. I used the shipping reference on the UK mail website and searched by reference.

Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, should be here around lunch time. My company uses UK Mail and I get deliveries from them at home all the time. Its the same driver every time too, so he knows where I live! yay! Looking forward to tomorrow!

I also got the exact same email regarding my phone and dock.
I also noticed that originally my shipping had been set to the option where they send all out together, that changed 6 hours ago or so once my order went to preparing to despatch (where it is still at) that things will be sent out individually.
So it happened 6 hours ago, just got the email about it, perhaps the orders are already sent just their site is updated slowly :D
 
ordered mine around 11am last friday. order still says processing expected 21-28 Oct!!!

mate of mine ordered one on the 11th and got a estimated delivery of 19-26?? what's going on??


dont think im going to get mine any time soon:mad:
 
Got my tracking details, UPS says my iPhone 4S (32GB black) should be delivered by end of day Friday (tomorrow) :)

I have my GiffGaff micro-sim cut-out template ready lol

btw, I pre-ordered at 08:57 last Friday
 
Ordered 32GB black 4s with confirmation at 12:40pm.
Just checked my order, it says shipped, however the track link is not working atm.
 
waaahh would someone please help me im tryingto track my order from
syncreon followed the steps from previous post but its still not working
 
My 64GB Black upgrade can be tracked now, ordered from Carphone Warehouse. Any other orders from CPW that can or can't track your order :)
