UK iPhone 4S thread.

is it just me or the forum has calmed down a bit (",) now that we know that all our phones are being shipped (",) good times (",)
 
i ordered my 4s last friday at 19:30pm. got the email 10 minutes later. still processing items. delivered between the 21st and 28th. any one else in the same boat...

As much as i've been checking... nothing has happened.

Cant imagine much will happen over night for me now. think its just a case of keeping one eye out the window tomorrow and the dog can keep an eye on this thread!

Good luck with that. When I click the tracking link I get an empty page except for "This service is currently unavailable, please try again later" and I can't find it in UPS either.

so far i think we've worked out its one of three companys... UKmail, UPS, or TNT! It will say when you click 'track now'

if you get the weird name begining with S, i forgot what it is, then thats UKmail

Call them up. Get them to rearrange it for Friday. They did it for me. Just be persuasive and ask nicely. Make up some story about how your on holiday from Monday.
 
i just ordered my upgrade White 32GB from carphonewarehouse at 6:15pm they said it will be here tomorrow, i reckon monday, whos arguing?

If you live anywhere near Tamworth you could offer to collect it - I did with my MBP back in March. It was an hours drive for me to pick it up but it was better than waiting until Monday.

Just phoned and got automated answer of " In transit and due Monday" :(

:). and yeah, when I click track shipment it says 'Shipment Status

This service is currently unavailable, please try again later' Lol. So I figured I will just chill for a bit.

In the email it says 'We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 14/10/2011.' so I have 100% decided to take tomorrow off from Uni. That's my new phone (replacing a Samsung D500 :p and my sim card arriving (hopefully) :D).

What date does it say on the apple website when you click track shipment?
 
My Black 64GB iP4S is on its way with UPS for delivery tomorrow. Like the other orders it is starting in Tamworth. I'm pleased it is UPS as they are usually the first of the couriers to deliver to work, and my Orange micro-SIM has just activated (in my old 3GS) so I'm ready to go!

Now, where are all those people who said:
a) the orders will ship from China
b) we won't be getting them until next week at the latest :rolleyes:

I had this issue for a long time until after quite a few hours later it began working.

should say in the email whos delivering it. been ages since i read mine so i cant remember lol

try your tracking number in all three sites lol
 
finally its changed, scheduled delivery tomorrow from Tamworth

took about 6 hours to update the page with the origin scan from the time the scan actually happened

I ordered a white one, was meant to be delivered tomorrow but cancelled so changed to black one and my delivery dates are the same as yours!
 
curious looking on the carphone warehouse, it states that once you put a simcard into your iphone it will lock to that network?? what the hell!!?
 
Got an email from Three- due to it being 'so popular a number of orders have been slightly delayed' and delivery would be on Saturday. That wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that I'm working on Saturday until 3pm, then have to be out with various other commitments. So it'll be at least Monday- and an hour walk to get the sorting office and back- I don't trust them to deliver to my local post office, after they manged to loose a previous parcel for three days somewhere in the system.

Given that I ordered as soon as the page was up, and have been told several times it would be tomorrow I'm very unhappy and will be making sure Three are aware of this. How can they fail to get deliveries sorted for tomorrow when every other network has managed to- either direct to customers or to their stores. If they can manage it, why can't Three?!

Very unhappy so far, can only hope the service gets better once I get my hands on the phone :mad:
