should say in the email whos delivering it. been ages since i read mine so i cant remember lol

try your tracking number in all three sites lol

Ah yes, it does indeed say UPS! Though it doesn't recognise any of the reference numbers/order numbers I have. I'll just wait till the apple site's one is tracking it for me.

What date does it say on the apple website when you click track shipment?

It says Monday also :(

The apple site doesnt track it, it just gives you the info needed to find it.

Mines not coming with UPS, but i think someone on here mentioned a 'trick' for UPS... something about using your W0000000 number without the W to track it?

It's just worked via clicking the 'track shipment' button on my order page. All is good! Estimated delivery date is 14th etc etc :).

But that doesnt tell you where in the world it is right now, and you cant follow it around all of tomorrow lol

UPS Tamworth

I assume this is where my iPhone 4S is at the moment:

UPS CUSTOMER CENTRE-TAMWORTH
JIM CASEY WAY
BIRCH COPPICE BUSINESS PARK
TAMWORTH, B78 1BF

Google maps and Streetview show a large UPS centre at that postcode! So it is 45 miles away (a one hour drive according to the AA). I'm pretty sure our van delivers out of Stoke, which is only a few miles closer.

It's a pity we didn't get to track the UK orders from China. Shenzhen and Hong Kong are a lot more exotic than Tamworth and Stoke :p

curious looking on the carphone warehouse, it states that once you put a simcard into your iphone it will lock to that network?? what the hell!!?

That only applies to those purchased to be connected to a specific network, it doesn't happen to SIM Free ones. The networks subside PAYG and Contract iPhone and therefore don't want you to be able to connect it to another network easily.

lol :p. I will keep trying the trick you mentioned plus the other numbers until it works via UPS' website I guess.

Hahah!

When I open mine I can imagine Siri will be pissed, when it realises its life has started in Warrington...

Not exactly. If it's bought SIM free, it won't lock to any network but it will prompt you to install the carrier settings for your network, which may lock out certain config options, e.g. tethering if your network forbids it.

any tips on how to track with SYNCREON ??

for the order number, put the tracking number from the Apple Shipment status page, and for the additional sales number, put the additional order number from the Apple Shipment status page.

Let me know what yours says, mine is pretty much all blank but says it was shipped last night at 10:30pm, even though I just got shipment notification 3 hours ago.

No data could be found with the Order and Sales Order No entered. Please try again.

So I just got my tracking number and can't find it on the UPS site which is who apple said it will be delivered by.

I know people keep having to repeat themselves but could someone copy and paste or explain themselves exactly how to track it, and what numbers to use etc?

Goto the UPS website and track by reference using the tracking reference in the shipment email.

Dont use track by number which is the default option on the website.

Am using this guide as seen in this post by Bear807. https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/13589634/

Mine just doesn't work. I'll just try again in a bit.

50 pages of people updating everyone on their online tracking info, thrilling.

Anyone planning on queuing at an O2 store tomorrow AM?
