I guess that you live some distance from Tamworth and they are moving your phone to a local depot.For those of us who have pre-ordered straight from Apple and getting delivered from UPS, my order left Tamworth at 0937PM

Mine left tamworth at 22.11
Looks like N.Ireland deliveries aren't happening until Monday...can't say I'm too happy about that
First and last online order for me...I've always got one on launch day, most times within an hour of the store opening so a nice F U to non mainland UK as usual
How they can't deliver next day 200 miles is beyond me when my new case arrived from the US in 36 hours!

I place my order on Friday at 1:30pm, mine isn't coming tomorrow
not necessarily mate, in my experience Apple tend to be ultra cautious on delivery promises. you may still get it tomorrow. have you tried putting your details in UPS? Completely on spec, I put my order number (W123456789) before Apple changed status to shipped and I was told label was been printed which is when I knew UPS was handling my order. Stayed like this from 4.45 until eventually at about 10pm, more detail came up saying in transit and delivery by End of Day Friday. As it happens UPS had the package since 11.24am, scanned it in at 19.55 but it didn't appear on their website for hours. Keep the faith and good luck
anyone having problems with TNT tracking? i am trying to put the tracking number in but it says 'not found' :S
im not surprised, the 3 stores got stock this morning so there main warehouses will have them
What happened to all the "no deliveries on Friday" posters? I would quote all your posts but that would just use up bandwidth unnecessarily and you know who you are anyway.
BTW: I'm not expecting a delivery I'm just using this thread to gauge the likelihood of there being 4Ss in store on Saturday - chances = 0 at this point.

OK, cracked it, this is what Apple need to do for the next launch...
When you pre-order your iPhone 5, just before it leaves Apple it has your AppleID programmed into it, then it's switched to standby, boxed and shipped. That way we'll all be able to use 'Find my Phone' to track the progress and location of our individual phones! Well, at least until the batteries run out.

In fairness, most of them were just passing on what they had been told by customer services in good faith.

Actually a very good idea lol. Surely the best way to actually track our shipments and also a great way to prove to the courrier company that the driver never even bothered coming up your road to your door before entering 'nobody at home' on their system coz they just want to go see their bit on the side
Same as when you buy a pay monthly from Apple store, it sim locks not due to sim being inserted but through Apple servers, otherwise there would be no point buying sim free!
Yodel has just moved mine a whole 2 miles from Oldbury, West Mids to Wednesbury, West Mids. Lol. Assuming that's where they'll send it out for delivery now. Wish i could just go and collect. Wednesbury is Junction 9 of the M6 and my house is Junction 7 of the M6. So close....
