UK iPhone 4S thread.

Northern Ireland!!

To any fellow Northern Irelander's mine has just arrived by UKmail ordered on launch day!! Im in Magherafelt. Says he has quite a few to deliver. Good luck to everyone!!

Oh poop. Answered the door and it was "can you take this in for next door?" Ugh. They look like books.

Yeah! Mine was delivered to work at 9:30 via UPS.

First impressions:
- quick and easy to set up via iCloud (without connecting to a PC)
- very fast! (I was uisng a 3GS before)
- Siri understands me, but struggles to get a connection over GPRS!
 
Received mine at 9:30 this morning...and I'm 40 miles from the distribution centre. Glad I don't have to stare out the window any longer!

I've been using 50-70GB/month for the past 4 months, no problems

Occassionally at peak times it will drop from 1.4MB/s download to about 300kbps but nothing drastic.
 
UPS shows delivery for toady but last update was Tamworth at 00:40am. Called to check and they said it hasn't left Tamworth so won't be delivered until Monday at the earliest.

Asked if I could collect it from Tamworth and was told no.

Gutted :mad:
 
Grrr, I'm one of those who've got the "delayed" status from UKMail.
I wouldn't mind so much, but it says Monday. Why can't they come tomorrow instead, after all it's them that messed up by getting the phones transfered to the depot so late ::mad:

Im in the same boat!! My phone is literally a 20 minute drive away and I'm not allowed to go pick it up :mad:

UKMail doesnt do Saturday deliveries at all.

Try calling them, I was also one of the delayed ones and she told me that the problem has been resolved and my parcel is actually on the van to be delivered, even though tracking says Monday.

Thank you, that gives me a bit of hope! It's annoying that it's not been sent using a company that has a depot local to me, else I'd just go down there after work!
Gotta get it soon, o2recycle are hassling me for my iPhone 4 :p

Thanks for posting, I was wondering who was delivering. I'm just outside Belfast, still waiting but hoping it'll be here shortly
