Yup. Mine not yellow but rather colours have a green tinge and are quite dull/washed out. If i didn't own an iPhone 4 however i wouldn't know. Its an ok screen but my iPhone 4 blows it out the water. I feared this would happen. Shame really cos its a brilliant piece of kit otherwise.

What to do now...return and buy another? or try to get it exchanged at a local Apple store which is next to impossible because them lot are right tits. Hmm...

I have two iPhone 4's. One is the original with Philips screws on the bottom and the newer one has the pentalobe screws. My newer iPhone 4's screen has a yellow tint compared to my original. Apple said they changed the screens to make it easier on the eyes. They would have been out in the 4S on purpose.

Mines Arrived

My black 64gb has been delivered from Tamworth via UPS, it went on the van at 6:30 this morning and was delivered to me in Staffs at 11 o'Clock

Good Luck Guys

Bluewater apple shop

Well got my iPhone 4s - queued since 03:00 though and only just got home.

Not tried the phone yet as I'm going to bed!!

There must have been 400 people there by 04:00 - around 200 of them where from a Gang..more on this later!!

They sold out by around 6am - they had no more tickets to give out and the employees where saying sold out

In relation to the gangs there were around 200 people bused in, luckily I got in between the first bus and the last few and so I only had around 50 in front off me. It was definitely gang operated as they were all given money to buy 2 iPhones and once they had purchased them they then gave the iPhones to the person giving out the money... the guy took the money out of a carrier bag in front on the management team of apple and Bluewater security... this bag must have contained £150,000 +. the phones were handed back in front of apple management as well!!

I complained to the manager and said how can this happen - not only are they exploiting the 2 per customer rule in front of you because it is very clear that these items are being purchased for one person but it's also very unsafe to have a man with £150K in a bag, what happens if someone robs him??

The Manager said there was nothing he could do, I said I wasn't happy about that answer as he was a manager and that I would be taking it further in apple... he said great we need people to complain about this sort of thing, the person who sold me the phones said it was wrong and that I should take it further as well. So the apple managers and colleagues knew it was wrong but allowed it to happen

I'm ok because I have 2 4S but there were loads of unhappy people that walked away empty handed and these people did not know that 200 people in the queue were not even buying them for themselves.

Just picked up my 64GB white 4S from O2 in Chiswick.
Queue wasn't too bad, just under an hour.

Man Siri is great isn't it?

I was told the same on the phone, seems they are doing their best to catch up with the delay. Now, if they could deliver mine first please... ;)

The delivery guy was in Huntingdon about an hour ago and should have now passed over the delayed crate of Phones to another courier for delivery today!

Where abouts are you located?

Just cut down your existing vodafone SIM card to around the brass chip thing (150x120mm) and insert into the SIM tray. It should work. Or else, wonder down to the 3 store and pick up a pay as you go SIM. Although I am pretty sure, it'll work as an iPod even without the SIM (at least the 4 did when I bought mine unlocked from an Apple store when it first came out). Good luck

The bit about working as an iPod is what I wanted to know. At least then I can just put the Sim in later. Thanks.

Someone else has suggested cutting it myself, but I'm reliant on having a phone this weekend, so if it goes wrong then I'll be really stuck.

I've also received my Giffgaff Sim this morning so I may use them for a month to check out their service and then transfer my Vodafone Sim in a few weeks time. It means having two phones with me, but at least I'd know how well the O2 signal works here before transferring my number in Feb.

Of course it's all dependent on UPS getting here in the next couple of hours.

Thanks for the advice.

Anyone worked out how to turn 3G off yet?

Are you on 3 by any chance? The carrier settings remove that option for 3, as they don't want you locking the phone onto Orange's network (they pay roaming charges for that). The other network operators should let you turn off 3G though.

Siri isn't understanding my sheffield accent too well!

Changed it to the woman because the man was a bit weird lol

mine has been out since 06:41 having travelled up from tamworth overnight to glasgow. UPS don't usually get to me till the afternoon so I am still waiting :(

Spending the time clearing up my 3GS so I can restore my 4S from backup :)

As irritating as it is, its not breaking the law, so I fail to see what Apple can do!

Technically they haven't done anything wrong. Yes, they have exploited the system, but there is nothing illegal in what they have done.

As it's gang operated then I'm sure the guy with the cash was well looked after, if you get what I mean. Anyone attempting to steal that cash would have been dead within 5 seconds.

Ooooh!!! There's a small UPS van parked on the road adjacent to me, I hope its for me! Just before I need ot leave aswell!! :D

near Huntingdon, but I reckon there will be a lot of deliveries before mine.

I wonder if in years to come the way we speak will have changed because we'll have adapted our pronunciation to make Siri understand us better? After all, SMS has already changed the way we sometimes write.

Apparently now on a van but late on their schedule due to late arrival at UKMail. Sounds like it'll be Monday for me.
Update from the business post tracker... Check with your consignment number!
