Nothing, nothing, nothing...........i can only think they are not reserving online and available instore, its all just a ploy!

Buy a SGS2 then? Means 1 less person who wants an iPhone and an increased chance of me getting one
I picked up a 16GB from the local three shop today! Paid £515 for the phone with £15 topup and extra £15 for it to be unlocked over the phone.
Not sure how long it'll take to get updated in Apples database, but three say a few days!
Love the 4S, though Siri is a little disappointing as it cannot use maps in the UK!

Glad someone is happy! My wife wants the black 32GB (actually she wants the 16 GB as she doesn't believe she'll need more, I think she needs the 32GB).

Is it just a coincidence that all Apple Stores in the UK have been getting virtually no new 4S stock for the last 5 days (in which case instituting the reservation system seems bizarre), or is there some sort of technical failure...?
I've been checking online for my local store everyday and have yet to see anything come up. My local store seems to have the 'out of stock' sign up every time I go past and whenever I speak to store staff I get suggestions like 'too many people trying to get on to the website at once'.
Isn't there anyone who knows someone who works in a store who can tell us what's happening, or someone who's emailed or been on the phone to Apple and received a useful response?

The three shops near me won't sell any PAYG phones,they are only selling contract. Same as all other shops they have stock but only for contract purchases.
In France and Germany, everyday you can find items for a lot of time... in UK it's hard to find 1 shop in the country with 1 or 2 iphone, and when you find it and try to reserve... that message.

Is it just that Apple aren't sending enough stock to the UK, or is it that the web systems are incredibly useless?
If I'm not able to reserve a White iPhone 4S before the 5th of November in West London I may just go with 3.
