I placed an order with Mazuma just after ip4s came out, so if i can get my ip4 back to them in time i get £270 for it, whereas on the website now its only paying £210 odd. So im still up, after buying from 3 (which i did, very easily today)

I dunno about getting lucky, once the imei has been sent to apple, then its all automatic. My iPhone 4 was locked to o2, and they were the same, i submitted the form online, and within an hour it was done.
I did get a text from 3, but it was the next morning fairly early on iirc.
But with ios 5 you dont even have to use itunes to activate, it does it over wifi, pc free remember

After all the fuss, phoning Apple Store everyday, PAYG on 3, now I finally gone ahead and ordered one from Apple Web, with Quidco cash back. So the 32GB iPhone would earn me £21.
But, placed the order today, the delivery time is 31 Oct - 7 Nov. That's a long (10+ days) wait

Glad to see some of you are having phones shipped now, i see on the 28th of this month the iphone 4s gets released worldwide so i recon most of you should hopefully have your online orders by then.......hopefully!
I just did a deal with t-mobile, my sim only contract is due to end mid january, i just asked about getting a micro sim card to buy an iphone direct from apple.
Nice lady said we can upgrade you now if you wish to change to an iphone contract. OK I said, transfered to customer re-tensions, one iphone 4s 32gig on its way, delivered monday between 9-1
They did say black easier to get than white, on a black 16gig it could be 2 weeks but were setting expectations at 30 days.
After 9 month with my HTC Desire its back to the iphone, not had one since the first one, should be interesting, think i'll just miss the odd widget.

The quidco thing is good! Ive gone with payg from 3 via quidco, i get £12.50, not as much as going via apple but only a week to wait for the phone!

No I've been putting my number in to TNT and it keeps saying 'item not found'. I called them and they said it hasn't been entered into their system yet. They also confirmed they don't deliver on the weekend.
Sorry, can't help you on that- if you're at all worried why not pop into the Apple Store when you arrive and ask them? After all, you can only reserve it the night before.
im confused i ordered an iphone 4s 16gb on the 17th they took the money out of my account, now today i check and theyv put the money back in?, however order is still being processed and everything? did this happen to anyone? my delivery is expected 25th oct - 1st nov...

When the ipad 2 came out and i reserved, all i needed was my itunes id, no paperwork. If that helps, but you could just ring them up now (stores close at 9pm) and ask
They usually "reserve" the money, so it is possible that they checked the money was there. If you do online banking it sometimes shows as missing money then returns. If your order is still showing as pending i wouldnt worry. If they cancel your order you receive a email within a couple of hours usually.

I have received that feedback from someone that went to Nice, but I don't know how does it work in Uk.
I think is the same rule.
In the email there is nothing that could be connected to the Apple ID that ordered it.
There aren't code or references to a precise transaction or order.

on my bank it shows no money taken out but it did before? its just as if the transaction hasnt even happened.. and they havent cancelled coz order is still going through on apple site
Then nothing to worry about, sit back and relax. If their was a problem, they would email you. It could just have been a error as they dont take the money until its sent just reserve it.
