Nope, ordered mine on the evening of the 12th and was hoping for some movement over the weekend but its still processing.

A friend of mine ordered on the 11th and received his shipping notification yesterday!!

Looks a bit dodge here on my iPhone 4, bit transient; almost as if due to no 2G it just drops out instead... Will have to see how it is on the 4s

Nope the reservation stuff is the phones they couldn't sell on contract

Yes, I know. But an electronic point of sale system should know exactly how many items are in stock and then deduct from them as each is sold. So at the end of the day, each store should know exactly what they have left in stock and it should be a simple process to update the central computers at Apple with that data.
 
still waiting on my iphone delivery KMT!! does anyone know if the 4s has NFC (near field communication)????

Just played my order for a 16GB black

suppose to arrive

1st-8th of november

okie dokie cool!! i hope u get urs on 1st! coz i order on 15th and still the order is processing items! and the dispatch date is 25th october - 01 November!! i hope i get it before 29th:/
 
Someone know if today, is going to change something in the availability of iphones in the stores, if they selling only on contract or not?

If you have a store near, or if you pass in front of one, can you ask?

Just called one and they are only allowed to sell contract only still.

I was told for a while until the demand comes down. What they don't sell in store they put up for reservation.

I'm new of this world, but I have always heard that in the store only sell free devices.

Why UK is different from all the other country?
For the less price?

I was told by 2 stores that's what they do with reservations.
 
Anyone had there 'three' phone unlocked yet?

mines at home in the box, not really used it all weekend :(

I belive what you say, but can you see something at the end of each day?

Yes, they probab. put one or two iphones (with hundreds people trying to take them), but I'm not sure thy put all those they don't sell during the day.
IMHO is a very little part of the stock, just to say... yes, we put items for reservation.

But we can't do anything, this is the story.
 
Good news I have been told that tomorrow they are going back to normal with selling sim free.
 
Metro centre store said they are only selling reservation stock today and eldon square are getting rid of their last contract only stock. They are 64GB white models.
