Not sure if this is the right place but I'm selling my O2 upgrade, white 32gb. I only want enough to cover the costs.

I can't get used to the white, going back to black

You know what they say, once you go black...

Definitely !!!

Went into the Metro store today, waste of time

"Have you tried reserving one after 9PM sir"?

"Yes but you never put any up for reservation"

"They go rather quickly sir"

I kept my reply of "Bollocks" to myself.

"We have them on contract sir"

"Well sell me one of those then"

"We can only sell them on contract sir"

I politely left before I told them where to go.

I will waste my time again at 9 tonight, then again, Sopranos is on at 9, might just give Apple a miss.

absolute classic, my laugh of the day, i know exactly what you mean.. my friend came up with this analysis he said youd have more chance of arsene wenger fielding a full english reserve side then getting an apple reserve...

no no i mean to say that mostly the fones are coming from Shenzhen China!! but how come he got it in a day!! :/

My phone came in a blue UKMail bag with a return address of Syncreon Technology, Leicestershire.

I'm suspecting that while all will come from China, they're not individually dispatched there. I'd guess once a larger shipment has arrived its split up and distributed as required.

I'm assuming that I only received my dispatched notification once they knew the phone was in the UK and sorted for delivery.

Still haven't been charged for my phone either. Obviously they've reserved the money, and if I was a scammer they can always just block the phone, but I find it slightly strange - though quite refreshing - that a major company isn't just grabbing the money ASAP!

Well mine will be delivered from the UK (Syncreon Tech. probably), and should arrive by the 1st. It is waiting to be assigned to a carrier.

I was considering going there today, glad I didn't :p

must have got a massive shipment in. all models in all four stores in the southwest have still got all models avail for 6 mins and counting.

Finally!!! After trying every night at 9pm I have tonight managed to reserve one! Phew!!! Just got to get up especially early tomorrow to go and collect it before work. The only problem is, the Voda store won't be open to get my micro sim, so won't be able to use my new phone!

Looks like they've finally caught up with themselves. I managed to reserve tonight after about a week of trying.

I just wanted to check - is it correct that I can buy the phone I've reserved SIM-free, or does it have to be locked to a carrier? I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but I saw a page on Apple's website that got me, irrationally I'm sure, concerned. Thanks.

pick up time?

hey guys,

i reserved my 16GB black iphone for in-store pickup from Apple store in
Birmingham (bullring). Pick up time is at 8-8.15am and the actual store opens at 9.30. Will I be able to pick up the phone up to 6pm?

I am in class from 9-12.30
