Mine too. Ordered on the 17th, due by November 1st. It changed to Preparing for Shipment about an hour ago.

Come on iPhone.

Any networks that give micro-sims for free instore/online? When I get mine next week I just want to activate it first and give it a play around before deciding to keep it or not rather than cutting my sim now and needing to buy an adapter for it if I don't like the 4S.

You can order a free micro sim from the 3 online store ... That's how I got mine:)

How can it be preparing for shipment when you ordered on 17th? I ordered on 16th and is still processing. Damn apple. Anyone else ordered on 16th?

Maybe it depends on the type if phone you've ordered? I ordered a black 16GB and white 64GB and it's still 'processing items'. What did you order?

I originally ordered my iphone through apple on the 12th Oct. Anyway trying to be clever I called Orange on the 17thas I was having issues with my phone anyway (sounds like ppl are under water) said I wanted to order a white 4s 32gb etc because off said issue and they said they could do that. Went through the motions and asked if before I order they could double check stock as I already had one on order that was due this week. She said they don’t appear to be out of stock on there system and they are normally delivered within 4-7 days. Awesome I was thinking……she then gave me “but it could take up to 30 days”. So I asked her was this just something she said and could she be sure they have it in stock. She reassured me enough and I cancelled with Apple gave payment details; deal done.

Anyway I called them yesterday to see where the thing was and although she took my payment details she forgot to finalise my payment and only check the funds so if I ordered it then it would be a fresh order and now the wait was 30+ days…..cut to the chase I cancelled with them and re ordered through Apple. Not happy and I should have made a stinker about it but to be honest I have some family issues and don’t need to the aggro. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks.

Annoying, my contract is up with Orange next month I think may consider moving

Ordered white 16GB on 17th. Preparing for Shipment as of 2 hours ago.

Was hoping someone could answer this question for me. ON the apple site, you have the option to purchase any item via finance. Is this the same in store? I.e. If you reserve on line can you go in store to collect and arrange said finance deal?

Thanks.

Omg people ordered on 17th and it is preparing for shipment. I ordered on 16th evening 32gb white it's still processing. Cant believe this is unfair. I have to get it before wednesday.

Wire transfer, it was released on the 14th. Hence it was technically ordered at that time, according to Apple.

Okay, thats why yours still hasnt shipped.

It takes apple about 10 business days (about 2 weeks) to process the wire transfer.

You will get an order confirmation email (not an order placed please pay email)..
your order then will be prepared and shipped within a few days after that. it should come in the stated delivery time or earlier.

dont worry . the reason its taking yours longer then others is that you paid by bank transfer which take slonger to process

Wow, I placed an order with O2 UK on 24th for a white iP4 16gb, and just got a text saying my order has been dispatched. And here I was thinking I may have to wait weeks for phone to arrive.
