UK iPhone 4S thread.

Belfast store had them all in too, but they're gone now. Picked myself up a 16gb in black after a few nights fruitlessly trying to get a reservation.

I ordered mine on 16th oct and it sim free(pay as you go) in the UK.
It says delivery by 1-2 weeks. Is that correct?
I need to get it by 3rd nov

Would it be better to reserve the iPhone online and pick it up from the store?

they should deliver by the date they quoted on your order.

If you can reserve it or buy from a store. you can cancel your order before it is "prepared for shipment"

"Processing Items Dispatched: 1 - 2 Weeks Delivers 25 Oct, 2011 - 01 Nov, 2011"

Also, How many Iphones can i reserve online? Is it also 2 per customer?

I might resort to that... for the first time since the reservation system was launched, I managed to see some stock at my local store. I need mine by the end of this week so I can send off my iPhone 4 for recycling (got a good price when I placed my order for the iPhone 4S, which has now dropped by £40-50).

By the way... anyone desperate for an iPhone can get some from Orange on pay as you go - they've got the 32GB and 64GB ones. Sadly their cap on 250MB data is restrictive and you're tied to them for 3 months before they'll let you unlock the phone. I was tempted, got as far as ordering and it was out for delivery today but UKMail couldn't find my flat and in the end I just cancelled the order. Hoping my online order with Apple changes status soon or I'll reserve one.

Using the iPhone app, I think you can reserve up to 2 of the same model, but I don't think you can pick 2 different ones. I'm pretty sure you can pick different models on the website.

A word of warning, if you have one online to be delivered, you can only reserve one more for collection - I found this out last night. It is a total of two per Apple ID regardless of a pending online order or reservation.

I have already ordered 2 using that Apple ID :S (Should i just make a new Apple ID with a different E-mail?)
What should I do? How many 16GBs Black Iphone 4s would a store have in stock for reservations?

Just got my 4S from apple uk. interest my 02 sim from my old iPhone 4 and this message came up:
insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate iPhone.
why the phone is unlocked?
there is also no SIM Lock on the phone.
 
Still waiting :( Ive noticed that they took the money and now its back in the account, is that normal or have they screwed up my order?
 
omg omg omg ordered on the 17th finally preparing for shipment!!!! how long does it take from this point on generally can i expect it tomorrow or saturday?
 
Ordered on the 17th... after a frustratingly long wait, order has changed to 'preparing for shipment' in the last 15 minutes (yes, it's been a load and refresh job the last few days!). Hopefully means I'll get it tomorrow... provided they are indeed shipping from the UK.

i got my gf a taxi booked incase i get it while im at work, shes shipping it personally if it comes earlier ;)

i sold my bb9300 curve 3g 12 days ago and im using that nokia, to be honest i was really growing to like it, better than the bb lol but now for the best phone il ever have for this lifetime... im wondering what il get siri to call me...
