My first post on this forum after stalking it for a couple of years. But I thought I might be able to help some of you out. I've been trying to get a bloody 4S for about the last 10days from the apple store in the Bullring in Bham, tried every night, on the dot at 9pm - said there were none available. I've tonight tried another attack - I had my laptop on the page, ready to strike, but also installed the Apple store app on my 3GS. On the strike of 9pm, I opened up the web page on my mac - surprise surprise - none available to reserve. I then opened the app on my iphone and went to reserve one, AND THERE THEY WERE. They were not available on the website, but they were from the Apple store app on my iphone AFTER I'd checked the website??!! Wtf. Anyway, I've booked one to collect for tomorrow :D

helps iphone users, not non iphone users, i have a macbook pro, twice the price of iphone do i get to use this stupid shop app no!! lol
 
I find whenever the site lags for the reservations open a new tab and try to reserve one. It usually shows stock then.

I guess I haven't done bad than as O2 are buying my iP4 16gb for £260. Initially I was thinking of selling through eBay as they're selling for around £280ish.
 
Mine has been stuck now on 'preparing for shipment' since around 6:15pm... looking more unlikely that I will get the phone tomorrow. Have to wait until Monday or Tuesday I guess.
 
Mine also turned to preparing for shipment 3-4 hours ago, it's still like that. I'm ok with it tho, as long as i get it before Wednesday. Which is going to happen i suppose. I ordered on 16th btw for anyone who ordered later and wants to learn about the cycle.

It'd be Monday. I'll probably get mine on Tuesday, or even after Tuesday.

Mine will be delivered by the 2nd....No chance, it hasn't even despatched yet, I'm guessing I'll get a call today, but with a £100 discount, I'm going to just be patient Mustn't rock the boat or bite the hand that discounts my stuff:)
 
still preparing for shipment!! i was hoping that i m gonna get it today but i think i wont be getting it today!! it will be monday now!!
