I just requested a micro SIM from 02 and the email I got back said that your iPad 2 sim is on its way, wtf?!
Also, I wonder what is going on with 02, they haven't updated their site yet.
I am on a simplicity rolling contract with them, if I bought an iPhone 4S from Apples site, and changed my 02 SIM to a slim one, it would be fine, right? I think I know the answer to this!

IIRC if you go into your order history (when your iPhone order appears in it - might not be till later today) you can sometimes change the payment method. Just be aware that even if Apple haven't charged you yet (I can't remember if they don't charge till despatch), they will probably have put a 'hold' on your funds which will mean that the money won't be available to spend on the card you paid with for a few days. You don't actually get charged though, it just reserves the money for Apple so they know it'll still be available when they actually charge you. If you change your payment method in the mean time, the money on hold will just automatically get released again after a couple of days.
I thought that too. Must be an error. Only thing I can think of is something to do with sim cards, because Verizon's CDMA network didn't include sim cards and they just activated the chip in the phone.
And since all our UK networks use a SIM, there's no need for the CDMA part to be active. Until you go abroad and you want to use CDMA!
Got my black 16GB. Hope iCloud is good... 13GB on my iTunes.
You've missunderstood how itunes in the cloud works.
It doesnt make it a difference if you've got an 80GB itunes library because it doesn't actually store YOUR mp3 files up there.
Unless you have 13GB of music that is not available on the itunes store.... but even then, iTunes match isn't yet available in the UK.
Anyhow, i'm waiting for Tesco to anounce their 12 months plans hopefully!!

Ok, this time when i got payment error, i hit back, and then clicked send. And i got an acceptance. Woot. 2x iPhones ordered. 1x 16gb Black and 1x 16gb White. Yay!!
Because a store rep told me, and thats what it says on the website, and it's what happened for my iPhone 4 the year before.
Don't fret.
Mmm, Apple aren't very good at delivering to Northern Ireland on time, can't remember anything ever arriving when it should. Saying that, if it hasn't shipped in good time I'll just cancel and queue up on the 14th at the Apple Store. Cheers for the information though
Hmmm. Eventually ordered 2, but much slower than last year. Anyone had confirmation emails yet (seem to remember they took a while last year though).

"Ships By", not "Delivered By"...takes over 3 days once it has shipped, so if they ship it on the 13th, haha!
The iPhone 4s from the apple store is fully unlocked so yes just buy it and ask 02 to port over your number and tariff to a microsim card. Takes about an hour to complete.

Managed to get my Black 32GB ordered on the second attempt, it gets slightly easier every year!
It causes confusion and panic every year, so its probably worth reminding people that:
Confirmation e-mails usually don't get sent out until tonight and sometimes orders don't appear in your account for a few hours, so don't worry if you can't see any confirmation of your order yet. As long as you got the "thank you" web page there's probably no need to worry.

Same here. Click Place order and nothing happens.

The site gave me an Oops! message as it was processing payment the first time so I did it again and now it looks as though I have ordered TWO iPhones!
I have two separate order numbers in my orders page. Have I definitely ordered two? I don't want to cancel in case it cancels them both...
