Got a couple of questions:
- What is the likelihood of getting it tomorrow (Thursday)? I REALLY hope I DON'T get it tomorrow. There's nobody on on Thursday but there will be someone in on Friday
- If I miss my delivery, what happens? Does it go to the UPS depot where I can pick it up on Friday?
- Is it possible to leave a note on the door informing the driver to leave it with a neighbour?

Unlikely.
You can, but you'll get a card first.
I'm sure the iPhones are a NO DELIVERY TO NEIGHBOUR labelled.

What is it with this thread that makes everyone lose any semblance of common sense
Genuine questions:
1 - That means you send a text roughly every ten seconds (ish) for every hour that you're awake (presuming you only get about 7 hours sleep per night). Do you really send that many texts?
2 - Who's your current provider? Off the top of my head (and I'm happy to admit to being wrong if necessary) but the only provider to offer unlimited texts without a fair usage policy is giffgaff.
I'm genuinely interested in the answers - not just trolling (honest guvnor).

I want!! lolIs everyone backing up their old iPhone and the putting that backup onto their 5? Don't know if you can do that or not, if not I'll lose all my contacts
If you miss the delivery they'll walk down the street and offer the package to the nearest passer by at a massive discount, so you're screwed. Also, if you're not hanging out the window with your tongue out of your mouth looking for a UPS van when they turn onto your road, they won't give to you. I also heard that you have to be standing on one leg with a finger up your nose when you answer the door, or they won't give it to you.
You can only tether on One Plan, they will block you if you're caught using a lot of tethering data. Plans now with 1GB is fine since you can only tether so much atm, but on the new AYCE plans, they will restrict you after a certain amount of days or throttle you.

Mine says shipped via Syncreon but has a dispatch date of 15-Sep? Did they have them this long?!
Well it looks like thursday is very possible after the email confirmation I just got...

I also just received a shipment notification by email
Last time, with my iPad 3, Syncreon handed over the iPad to UKMail. Someone posted a link to a special version of UKMails website for the tracking that was more in depth than the one on their front page, it told you exactly where the package was and what the van drivers name was! It was very accurate and updated well before the main UKMail one.
Anyone happen to have the link to that one?
Bad thing is, I'm at work on Friday so it will go back to depot. Last time, by tracking through the better system, I was able to ring up immediately as soon as it said it was heading back to depot so I could arrange to pick it up.

If i try this link, it says info not available yet, does this mean it will be coming via UKMail. or is that just their info when wrong info is inputted.?
Have they changed this recently at all? I used to be on the One Plan, and tethered a lot, but now have one of the Ultimate AYCE packages for £30 a month and am tethering fine - hitting on average 5-6gb a month and not had any comms from them or any throttling (always get a very healthy speed).
Just curious, as I figured I'd lose the feature.
No it's having a major panic, and I can get my order numbers in, and then once I press submit ....

You can back your phone up with iTunes or iCould and then restore it to you new one when it arrives. iTunes is probably recommended for launch days ... not sure how the iCloud servers will hold up.
