:D Morning fellow appley's . Syncreon's site is being a pain , can't track shipment.
Apple email Status [SHIPPED] today or tomorrow arrival :p:p:p:p

This week is all about the hardware, if I weren't getting a 5 this'd easily be the most underwhelming iOS upgrade yet. What annoys me about Maps, along with its general ropiness, is that it has the potential to make Siri actually useful. Any Google mapping will presumably have no Siri functionality or am I mistaken?

Its funny, since bunging the GM on my iPad, the only addition I can really see me using is the stock clock app! Siri is hopeless at interpreting my Manc twang.

Yeah afaik the first of us to pre-order are all DPD, we have a tracking number and it works but it has said "awaiting receipt of parcel" since tuesday, then the second lot are UKMail and their tracking codes don't work?

Thanks for that, you saved me from skimming back through this thread. Let's hope some activity shows up for all of us soon.
 
Has anybody who upgraded through carphonewarehouse heard anything about a tracking number? I was just told it was being delivered through Yodal
 
Apple updated my shipping status yesterday, and supplied me with a tracking number for UPS.

Only trouble is, UPS doesn't recognise it. Perhaps it won't actually work until the package is actually on the move from the warehouse.
 
Syncreon shambles

My notes say 21st of earlier (poss today) - can't get updates through Syncreon - how can you plan when you cant get the bloody info!!!!

If it was delivered today and i'm out which i will be) will they attempt again tomorrow when i'm working from home as planned??

Yes & not only but also on Apple's tracking site when I change the Time Zone to GMT delivery my date changes from 21st to 20th. Time for me to get a life I think!
 
Just received a shipping notice (for Fri 21) for the additional lightning cable that I ordered on Monday - it originally had been expected to arrive Oct 3 - onwards.

The people who's phones are coming via DPD-did it specifically mention DPD in the Apple email, or were they Syncreon (and how did they then find out was then coming by DPD)?

Same results here... Probably worth checking again tonight. :apple:
 
Managed to get onto the syncreon's tracking. For those that are having issues don't worry, doesn't tell you anything other than your address and expected delivery date (still tomorrow for me). Says they are sitting in Hinckley.

It's not coming today. Syncreon haven't passed over the consignments to the final carrier (UPS or TNT) which is why none of the tracking details are working on their (heavily overloaded) site. Once Syncreon hand the consignment to the courier, they will have to pass it through their own logistics process which will include overnighting it to your local delivery depot, it will then be loaded onto a local van for delivery tomorrow.

I did, after speaking to them yesterday and tracking my order its still processing

To track on carphone warehouse:

I ordered 32GB sim free Black on Tuesday as they promised 21st delivery.
 
Shipped by Royal Mail?

Like most people I received a shipping notice via email from Apple yesterday evening (6PM) for my 2 iPhone 5s. After many failed attempts to track the shipment through every possible courier last night, and through the Syncreon website itself I rang Apple this morning and used the automated system to get tracking information. According to the recorded voice @ Apple my iPhone has shipped through the Royal Mail.

Anyone else experienced this, or in the past?

Thanks for the reply, we're do I get my transaction reference, I've had nothing off carphonewarehouse at all, only a text off O2 to say thank you for upgrading
