UK iPhone 5 thread

Spoke to Orange this morning about yet another mess up on my account (don't ask - after this contract expires, going with someone else. Complete shambles!) and the guy I spoke to said it looked as though my phone (white 32GB) would be delivered tomorrow. Not holding my breath. I'll post when I get a text.:)
Originally ordered 9ish Friday morning, but girl ordered wrong phone so reordered by manager early Monday.

Me too, ordered via the phone on the VIP wotsit. Money has been taken from my card. But I haven't had a reference or email. Supposedly we're getting texts with tracking numbers today
 
Seems like O2 has arranged delivery but not provided the phones to DPD and UKMail to be delivered, just hoping they do it in good time today for delivery tomorrow.

I can't get in there site at all. I'd drive to Hinckley and pick the thing up if they would let me! On another sad note I'm off work today. Knock at the door around 8. I ran downstairs whilst throwing on some jeans. I could see it was a white can through the door window. Got real excited, only to be handed an Amazon box with some T-shirts my wife ordered. Grrrrrrrr!

I got my transaction reference on the phone when I ordered just after completing payment.

I called them yesterday to check on the status and apparently processing means your order is now allocated and awaiting dispatch

prevoious to this status is said something about the item being out of stock so hopefully this is good news!!

My item also says that it should of been delivered 19th Sept.

I was a bit sceptical cancelling my 2-8th october apple order but as CPW only started accepting sim only orders Tuesday and promising delivery tomorrow thought Id chance it!!!

Same here, though if I use the email I was sent on Monday with the tracking link it tells me it's sitting in the Lichfield service centre ready for dispatch.

The City Link tracking number does not work yet, probably because they either have it ready to start moving it later today, or because I'm having mine delivered to my local CPW for me to pick up.
 
Syncreon success - and new instructions

With thanks to the OP for their helpful advice, please note that the instructions as provided by the OP for using Syncreon online tracking are actually incorrect / have changed.

I finally got a result from the Syncreon website this morning. No details yet, but at least confirmation that the iPhone is on its way, expected to deliver tomorrow (21st).

In the first box, enter your "Tracking Number"
In the second box (which may only appear after you have filled in the first one), enter the letter + number provided by Apple as "Your PO Number".

Do NOT enter the "Additional Order Number / Our Delivery Reference Number" from your Apple notification into either of the boxes - it won't work.

Hope this helps to set a few minds at rest :)

I've modified the instructions, but I'm doing so from iPad. I haven't verified this.

Did you order over the phone or online and what time/day roughly? I ordered around 4 pm and mine is sat at order processing and that it should have been delivered on Monday haha.
 
Syncreon tracking details updated and verified as posted said, use PO number not additional order number.

T Mobile new connection

Wife had an email, like others had, about the first bill etc but i havent and I ordered befroe her:rolleyes:

Think that email is a good sign myself
 
Hi Guys,

Can someone help me, whats this tracking app people are talking about, and how do i find it in the App Store. Is it as simple as searching 'tracking app'.

My UPS tracking number also isn't showin up anything with them. :(
