Yup. I Reset Network Settings and tried to connect again and it seems to have worked.
Have seen mention of wifi troubles in other threads (Roundup of iOS6 Lanuch Day News thread) but not experienced any myself...
Yeah, figured, just thought the grasping at straws element was kinda funny
As for iOS 6 maps, Tesco (for some random reason) was my first search, no results
and a few basic direction queries have turned up some very random routes?Hopefully the more its used by the average Joe the more data it'll collect.
Apple's ping page went offline for a while. Is back on now. Just reconnect to your router without changing anything. That is if it's not set to auto-connect, of course.
i think you're right! who knew about this ping page, the cheeky bastards! every time you go to a website it first pings Apple for no reason!

I was first in the swathe of Apple pre-orders so my iP5 is on its' way to me right now via Syncreon.
The tracking system is awful. Apple have provided me with three separate numbers.
The initial Apple.com order number, a tracking number (which is the same as a fourth number ('Our Delivery Reference Number') and an 'Additional Order Number'.
Syncreon ask for Order No/Delivery No. and then a 'Web Order No:'.
I have no idea what to put in where, the site's laggy and no matter which order of numbers I put in, nothing works.
Just presuming the tracker's down/Syncreon are a giant pile of *****.
They delivered a 4S to me last October and it went down smoothly, but it seems like they've merged with a crappy courier service as it's just gone downhill.
Probably Yodel.

The second number it asks for is your "Additional Order Number", but it wont give a result until sometime tomorrow probably.
Try your tracking number on UKmail tomorrow too, as they might be the ones who do final delivery.
any one managed to track their iPhone order on Syncreon's website? What are the numbers that are required for the tracking? Same as above post, I can't get the tracking to work!

Nothing at all here, but not expecting anything till later today from the carrier (DPD?) to confirm date of delivery. Not long now!
Also remember the UK phone will be GSM so similar to like a Verizon(?) handset in the states?
(Or did I make that up)
Any accessories in your order? I know removing things like the lightning adapters has bought back people's shipping date.. Also see your in Scotland but with it being Glasgow I wouldn't have expected them having issues getting to you on release day
