UK iPhone 5 thread

I have just phoned and they said that my order is still processing, and that we should receive a text from the delivery service.

He said that mine hasn't yet been dispatched, he can't guarantee I will get it for Friday but he also said I may very well still be able to get it on Friday.

So know further forward really :/

The 5 doesn't really give much you don't get on the 4S now iOS 6 is out, so I fear there may be some disappointed people tomorrow evening when the initial excitement of unpacking the new toy has worn off and the prospect of paying for it sinks in!

I dont understand. Ive already paid for mine. Im lucky enough to have the spare funds.

Put my tracking number into the ukmail site and tracked by reference and its showing.

From memory they delivered my iPad as well.

I tried out tracking number (The one beginning with 8) on the UKMail website but didnt work.

If anyone is having problems getting hold a a Three Nano sim on PAYG here's how I just did it.

I had Three send me a micro sim for free, then put that sim into my IP4s and rang up Three on 333. I went through to their iPhone department and simply asked for them to swap my Micro for a Nano and they did!

Also important part was I asked for an active Nano, which will save a bit of time when my iP5 arrives tomorrow as i'm sure loads will be trying to activate their sims tomorrow.

I double checked it was a Nano and she was sure it would arrive tomorrow too!

It's been a long time coming trying to do this as I'm a giffgaff customer at the moment so I wasn't eligible to just swap a current sim. Had to go about it the long way!

Hope that helps anyone else looking for Three PAYG Nanos. Or maybe I just told you all info you already new

Confirmed that this works - they are collecting it today from Syncreon by the looks of things.

Mine says its shipping via UPS to me in Belfast. I phoned Apple this morning and they gave me a tracking number 1ZW7V***********789. I've tried this on the Ups tracking but it don't work!!!

Royal Mail thing is a red herring - she said that to me and mine's with UK Mail....

UKMail may hand it to RM for the "final delivery" stage. But then again they might deliver it themselves!

I found mine with UKMAIL

Aye just realized they are a delivery service, just assumed it would be UPS.

My Assigned Carrier is SYNCREON PARCEL DELIVERY but I found it with UKMAIL. Put Tracking Number from apple into Parcel Tracker, By Reference Number.

Then click on UnSecure More Info to get all the detail even your name. At the moment this is what I got:

Status: Awaiting Collection
Collection Date: 20/09/2012
Expected Delivery: 21/09/2012

I ordered Sim free so no contract/credit checks were needed.
Sure it will soon update....

Looking quite good now i've got my nano sim and my old number should be transferred over tomorrow. Called Apple got my UPS tracking number which doesn't work but i've been I was told that it'll be working tonight when UPS put tracking up also got told i'll definitely be getting my iPhone tomorrow Called UPS see if they had anything on system they said that they didn't because Apple hadn't sent them the information yet. But if tracking doesn't go up home delivery starts around 8AM believe the woman also said finishes at 10PM.

Can't wait now hope i get it early

Hi Everybody,

i have my own account manager, they are sending text tonight for all orders approx 50,000 will be sent.

all 16gb have been sold out from monday and will take 2 weeks to fulfill pre orders
32gb they had 1300 handset left
64gb the has 600 handset left as of 5pm yesterday

I really hope this is true. I ordered a 32gb, eventually processed on Tuesday morning.
