Seriously, Northern Ireland is in zone 1 so I expected it tomorrow as it said on the apple website .... It's been on 21st Sep as delivery date all week up until this lunch time!
It's not even like I'm out in the country areas of N.I or the harder to reach areas, I'm right in Belfast .. urgh!
So much for getting my order in at 8.05am ... I should have just waited and queued up at the store ...
I mean, they know they have to deliver to Northern Ireland, they know the logistics of that and they stated the 21st, so why can't they plan properly and get it here when they said they would!..
I feel sorry for those that didn't make it early enough for the first batch, but gosh I was in at 8.05am and I'm in one of the capital cities in the UK ..
P.S - there was me getting excited at UPS delivering it too cos last time I had Yodel and it was awful lol
Given that the phones were scanned in at Tam with at 14:00 today, they could easily arrive tomorrow - if you are in area 1 then it's quite possible. They' d be on the ferry overnight and deliver tomorrow
Do you think it was the Company / Apple line? Or genuine no idea what they were scheduled to get?
Word is that T-Mo shops took deliveries today.
I seriously hope that if UK Mail's Premier 24 service is a before noon thing, that it doesn't turn up while I'm out for 15 minutes on the school run... It would be bloody typical!
Hence why I am having my mother do it in the morning

If its coming by royal mail you won't get any text as its only if it's coming via ukmail that you get a text. I got told this when I was informed mine was coming via royal mail. Had to hound them today to get a call back with a royal mail tracking number. Shows guaranteed between 8 and 1 tomorrow on the royal mail site. All royal mail deliveries of the phone are special delivery which is before 1

Not sad at all, love the launches and I always feel more unity between people around these than I do for things like royalty events (weddings and the such) or even Olympics etc. Now that's got to be sad!
Did you go for Black/Slate? I went for White since iP4 and wanted Black now so that people will be able to see its the 5. Yes, I am that shallow... But with the white, if your holding it it would look like the 4 so to me just not as fun to get all the kiddies on the train point and mutter between themselves. Mind you, wasn't as funny as original iPad I got imported from day one from USA which was months before UK, everyone was pawing over me those months!
Went for white as I always wanted white with iP4, and we know how that turned out. Was always envious of how much more the screen 'stands out' on a white iPhone.

I think it is my ipad 3 got delivered at 11am and it was a premier 24 delivery.

I havnt had a text from ukmail like some have though.....

How do you know if that is accurate? Maybe that is where it is going not where it is.
They don't have my number, and my number is on my nano sim and I don't have an adapter

It was really easy and i am RUBBISH with my hands, huge sausage fingers so if i can do it anyone can.
I printed out the PDF template:

Stuck my Micro SIM to the printout with some double-sided tape and went to work. I used a bit of sandpaper to smooth the edges but I have not sanded the thickness. I placed it in the Nano to Micro adaptor that came with my wife's O2 Nano SIM pack and it works in my 4S.
I'll know tomorrow if I need to sand the thickness. So far I have saved a lengthy trip to T-Mobile and an unnecessary £10.22 charge.
